In case you forgot, this is a unified version that includes v14.2 Lite.
This confirms that the version we will receive is 14.2 lite, no more updates (for now)
No news for the AI3 rollout as of yet, but this is concrete proof that it is extremely close to a release.

It might be another evidence that Tesla is preparing the big merged roll-out with latest version for both hw4 & hw3 in New Zealand & Australia.
We are in Australia, purchased our 2nd Tesla with the sole purpose of FSD, still havenβt got the download. Test drove and purchased on 20th May 2026, got the car 29th July, it is now 11th September, still NO FSD. Bit frustrating.

That was the biggest issue about v14 lite, Finally Tesla fixed it with v14.2 Lite!
This version looks very usable in New Zealand & Australia! Canβt wait to get v14.2 Lite!
Tesla officially fixed the issues with FSD hitting obstacles going in reverse with HW3!! BRAVO for implementing this so quickly @Tesla_AI. This is really great news and a new change with v14.2 Lite.

Not difficult at all.
π₯ The first HW4-retrofitted 2022 Tesla Model 3 is now fully operational, including the latest FSD (Supervised) v14!
The retrofit, described as a βnightmare,β required:

HW4 computer replacement

ECU modifications
β
Camera adapters β no need to replace the camera cables
β
New windshield
β
Different camera mounts
β
Headliner modifications
While the retrofit is technically possible, it seems unlikely that Tesla will offer a paid HW4 upgrade in the future.
