Anti Semitism at its worst. They didn’t commit genocide. They defended themselves and helped re write the foreseeable future of the Middle East in the process.
My Statement on the Third Anniversary of October 7th Three years ago today, Hamas murdered some 1,200 people in Israel, the vast majority of them civilians, committed horrific atrocities, and dragged 251 hostages into captivity. The attack against Israelis on October 7th was a horrific act of terrorism. Hamas murdered Israelis in cold blood at a music festival and in their kibbutzim. The deliberate killing of innocent people is never resistance. It is a crime against humanity. It is a war crime. Like any country facing a terrorist attack, Israel had the right to defend itself and go after Hamas. Tragically, the Netanyahu government in Israel did not wage a war against Hamas alone. It waged a genocide against the Palestinian people in Gaza. More than 74,000 Palestinians have been killed, most of them women, children and the elderly, and more than 175,000 have been wounded. Gaza's homes, hospitals, schools and water systems have been reduced to rubble. Instead of continuing to provide military aid to the extremist government of Israel, the United States should be doing everything possible to provide and support humanitarian aid to the desperate people in Gaza and bring peace and justice to the region. The way to honor every person lost over these three years is to end the bloodshed: No more American weapons for the extremist Israeli government, a real and enforced ceasefire, full access to humanitarian aid, reconstruction by and for Palestinians, and a genuine path to a Palestinian state alongside a secure Israel. On this solemn day, we must come together to demand a lasting peace.

Weirdly, they don't want to ever ask where those European Jews came from.
Replying to @EWErickson
@EWErickson you got it backwards.. the "jews" in israel are 80% ashkanasi from europe...two wrongs dont make a right. What hamas did is awful, what the israilis do is equally awful, IDF does the same...its not "hatred of jews", more like hatred of the govt of israel

“Then Peter said, “Silver or gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk.” Taking him by the right hand, he helped him up, and instantly the man’s feet and ankles became strong. He jumped to his feet and began to walk. Then he went with them into the temple courts, walking and jumping, and praising God.” Acts 3:6-8 NIV bible.com/bible/111/act.3.6-…

The final minute of Secretary Marco Rubio’s address in Athens is truly spellbinding if you listen closely. This will go down as one of the greatest speeches ever delivered by a Secretary of State. He perfectly weaved in the history of ancient Greece to show why Western civilization is worth fighting for. Most importantly, it was a warning to the rest of Europe about what could be lost if the West forgets where it came from. RUBIO: “But Europeans and our friends across the West must relearn the lessons our forefathers took from this place and from its history.” “The history of Greece does not just offer us a glimpse of our institutions in the earliest forms. The history of Greece shows us an image of ourselves.” “It shows us that ours is the inheritance of great heroes and we should be proud, intensely proud, where we come from.” “We should marvel at what our forefathers carved out of this countryside.” “The story of our civilization is the greatest story ever known to man, and it began here with the first men and women of the West, from them, from them we can rediscover the virtues, the courage and the strength to confront the dangers that we face in our time.” The entire place erupted in applause at the end. That was a special moment from Rubio.

For all the obvious tensions between the mayor and the Jewish and pro-Israel communities in the past, today, I believe, because of @ZohranKMamdani statement, will be a watershed moment. Maybe even a turning point. The mayor is a genius, so he must have known what the reaction to his words would be. Amazing, truly. And, now, dangerous and volatile.
.@NYCMayor, not once do you say “Jews.” On Oct. 7, Hamas-led attackers murdered civilians, committed sexual violence, mutilated bodies and took hostages. You are weaponizing a day meant for mourning the worst massacre of Jews since the Holocaust to recycle your usual antizionist talking points. The city with the largest Jewish population outside Israel deserves a mayor who can honor the dead without exploiting them.

I’m obviously not a fan of Vindman but I truly respect this post. Other Democrats should do the same.
You can have just a post marking the tragic October 7th massacre. You could save your selective ahistorical biased opinions on the whole history of Israel and Palestine (seemingly justifying October 7th) until say tomorrow. Your empathy could exceed your biases.

🚨 BREAKING: In an incredible moment, Sec. Marco Rubio just WALKED OUT in front of the Acropolis in Athens, Greece to demand a resurgence of Western Civilization values and against mass 3rd world migration And he's doing it at the BIRTHPLACE of the West. Inject this into my veins. 🔥🔥 "The imagination of the western world. GENERATIONS of our statesmen...have looked to [Acropolis] with wonder, with awe." "2.5 centuries after the founding of the American Republic...I stand here today as a Secretary of State of that republic...I stand here to testify to a debt that no lapse of time, no distance of space can ever extinguish." "The history of America, of my country, is covered with the fingerprints of antiquity. Greece is literally carved into the architecture of our government." This speech is pure gold.

Any Democrat out there going to condemn this? @katiehobbs @CaptMarkKelly @RubenGallego?
This day is profoundly painful for so many New Yorkers. It marks three years since the horrific war crimes of October 7. On that day, Hamas killed more than 1,100 Israelis and abducted 251 others. We grieve alongside our many friends and neighbors who still carry that unthinkable loss. The suffering did not begin nor end that day. It instead continued through the Israeli government’s devastating, ongoing genocide in Gaza, in which it has killed more than 74,000 Palestinians—including more than 21,000 children. Even since the so-called ceasefire, more than 1,400 Palestinians have been killed. That suffering has intensified with every Israeli bomb dropped on ambulances waiting outside hospitals, every drone strike targeting a residential building or journalist, and every shipment of food aid turned away at a border crossing. Many New Yorkers are reckoning with this unbearable grief, and we mourn alongside them – all while knowing that our tax dollars fund these war crimes. Three years later, we must refuse to accept a world in which occupation and apartheid continue, where war crimes are met with impunity, and our federal government continues its complicity with every arms shipment. To honor the dead, we must fight for a world in which every person can live with freedom, safety, and dignity.

3 years ago, Hamas unleashed a wave of violence & murdered thousands of Jews inside Israel. Subsequently, many Jews were tortured, raped & murdered while held hostage. While most of the world condemned the attacks the persistent scourge of anti Semitism endures. Prayers to Israel

So true and we got lucky with Palmer and Warner. Everyone thought they were washed up.
Updated with Phoenix I looked at every Arizona/Phoenix Cardinals starting Quarterback - 39 in all Two were very good Carson Palmer (38-21-1 regular season) Kurt Warner (30-31 regular season) You might make a case that 2-3 others were decent but you would be hard pressed to find more than that. The vast majority have been - Not good to Awful Jay Schroeder Steve Beurlein Jim McMahon Dave Krieg Boomer Esiason Kent Graham Jake Plummer Stoney Case Dave Brown Josh McCown Shaun King John Navarre Matt Leinart Derek Anderson Kevin Kolb John Skelton Max Hall Ryan Lindley Brian Hoyer Drew Stanton Blaine Gabbert Josh Rosen Sam Bradford Kyler Murray Colt McCoy David Blough TraceMcSorley Joshua Dobbs Clayton Tune Jacoby Brissett Phoenix Cardinals -- Neil Lomax Cliff Stoudt Gary Hogeboom Tom Tupa Timm Rosenbach Stan Gelbaugh Chris Chandler Bottom line the Arizona Cardinals absolutely need to find a franchise QB somehow/someway for 2027. It is beyond time.

From one of the really good pollsters out there 👇
The design effect on this is wild, like above 3. Usually a strong design effect is something like 1.5 (meaning LOTS of weighting and poor sample collection). Best place for this poll is the circular file. #pollsthatmakeyouLOL

According to Claude, this is non governmental employers in Arizona based on approximate head count. Please explain how Warner/Paramount merger eliminates 11,600 Arizona jobs. Take all the time you need.
This corrupt merger could put 11,600 Arizona jobs at risk. Trump and his administration have cozied up to the Ellisons while letting them consolidate even more power. Once again, working people are getting sold out while billionaires like David Ellison come out on top.
