I mean, I don’t think Cleveland! is meant to be this “I’m unbothered” song. Its thesis is, “Here’s all the things you say about me, but I still have someone who loves me and I’m happy so fuck you all.” She can find the hate bothersome and still express this sentiment.

shake it off is definitely the closest she’s come to making a truly successful “unbothered by the haters” song but it’s only really good at sounding unbothered because it’s so vague the more specific the song gets the more bothered she seems by the situation
