October 17 is about showing up.
We’ve all seen the polls telling us what Albertans supposedly think about independence. But polls don’t get the final say. Albertans do.
Two days before the referendum, people from across this province will gather at the Alberta Legislature. I’ll be there because I believe Alberta deserves the opportunity to seriously consider a different future, and I want Albertans who feel the same way to have a chance to stand together and be seen.
@LetABDecide is organizing round-trip charter buses from communities across Alberta to make getting to Edmonton easier.
Bring your Alberta flags. Bring your Let Alberta Decide signs, or bring the signs you already have from any of the organizations supporting Option 2. This isn’t about which organization’s name is on the sign. It’s about Albertans coming together and making their voices visible.
Wear your Alberta pride.
Let’s fill the Legislature grounds on October 17 and show just how many Albertans care deeply about the future of this province.
Then, on October 19, every Albertan gets to make their own decision where it ultimately counts: at the ballot box.
