A priest suggested a £5.99 Christian Advent calendar as an alternative to Meghan’s £112 chocolate calendar, and suddenly the Sussex Squad lost whatever grip on reality they had left. Rev Daniel French didn’t launch some vicious attack on Meghan. He simply pointed out that for £5.99 people could buy a Christian Advent calendar containing Fairtrade chocolate, a booklet about the meaning of Christmas and a charitable donation. Meghan and Harry knew exactly what they were doing in that Oprah interview. I would not accept any apologies from them. They will just screw you over again. The Oprah interview was conducted at the height of Black Lives Matter. They knew accusing the Royal Family of racism would land. Playing the victim card is a currency for those two.
