Let me offer a bit of an American perspective. And let me start by saying, Trump is often much too obscene and offensive for my liking.
But the reality is... it's honest obscenity. We know EXACTLY what he's thinking. He's not hiding behind tradition, words, pomp, and a fake facade.
When he's insulting, or challenging someone, it's because he WANTS something. He's pushing buttons. It's inelegant, and nonassiduous, but it's REAL. Something we haven't really ever had in a politician.
And we believe that he really does want what's best for America.
The things he's been accused of, well, I don't believe most of it. Establishment Washington is scared to death of men like Trump, who want to pull the covers off of the lie. So the effort for the past 10 years has been do whatever it takes to ruin him. This isn't obfuscated in any way. It's in plain sight.
I look at your "leaders" and scoff. These are polished men, yes. But what are their real intentions? To become part of some grand International cabal where we're lead by some central leadership stripping away our rights? I look at England and shake my head.
Which is why, at the end of the day, I support Trump. Not the man himself, but what he embodies in spirit.
