I’ve been looking into @MarsChainDAO, and one thing that immediately stood out to me is how they’re approaching participation in a blockchain network. A lot of networks make participation feel like something reserved for people with large amounts of capital, expensive hardware, or technical infrastructure. MarsChain takes a different route with its Proof of Contribution model. The basic idea is pretty interesting: You burn $MARS → receive permanent hashrate → use that hashrate to participate in mining. And because the $MARS used to obtain that hashrate is burned, the mechanism also creates a direct connection between participation and token supply. That creates an interesting economic loop. The more people contribute to the network, the more participation can happen through hashrate, while the tokens used for that contribution are permanently removed from circulation. But the bigger picture goes beyond the burn mechanism. MarsChain is building its own EVM-compatible Layer 1, meaning developers can build applications within an environment that is compatible with Ethereum-based tooling and smart contracts. That opens the door to things like DeFi, Web3 applications, gaming, infrastructure and other on-chain use cases. What I find most interesting is the question of how this model behaves as adoption increases. Does permanent hashrate create a sustainable incentive structure? Does the contribution mechanism encourage long-term participation? And most importantly, can MarsChain turn the tokenomics into an ecosystem where people actually have reasons to stay active? Those are the things I’ll be watching. The technology is one part of the story. The real test is what happens when more users, developers and applications start interacting with the network. MarsChain is definitely one I’m keeping on my radar.

Last week I onboarded over 150+ people to a gamified project on Robinhood over a span of two days. I reached out to the dev and agreed on a deal to get more users to check out their game. At the end of of my rounds, my crew (everybody i invited into the game were signed up under my crew) had amassed over 200 hours of game time which was crazy ngl. The game was actually pretty enjoyable so people loved it and kept playing. An advice for devs and founders, while building: build something that people will actually want to use. As always, I’m active for any marketing, promotion and management gigs.
