In my observation, dogs (even street ones) usually don't like bad faith actors and lowly individuals. They always bark against people with low cunning mentality, a house help that is after something valuable in your home, a sweeper who comes back at night to steal valuables from parked cars, a petty thief doing reconnaissance of the region.
Dogs can "smell" the bad in people and it's the same kind of people who are asking for elimination of dogs.

Obviously schools should be sex segregated. Colleges were almost entirely sex segregated until comparatively recently. What good has come from the shift to coed institutions? In what way has education improved? In what ways are men and women any happier due to this shift? These aren’t rhetorical questions. Can anyone list the benefits? Because there’s a very long list of horrifying negatives (the Cornell case being just the latest).
