The just concluded 15th @PSF_RWA Eastern Eastern Province #Expo2026 was more than just an exhibition. It was a dynamic marketplace for growth, innovation, and private-sector expansion. From 19 August to 6 September, @KayonzaDistrict hosted the event, drawing 232 #exhibitors and nearly 40,000 visitors. The #Expo offered businesses a rare chance to showcase products, engage directly with customers, explore new markets, and forge partnerships that extend well beyond the exhibition grounds. For entrepreneurs, such platforms provide what daily operations often cannot: direct access to a large and diverse audience. #Exhibitions allow businesses to test products, gauge consumer demand, build visibility, and transform connections into tangible commercial opportunities. The #Expo also underscored the pivotal role of the Private Sector Federation (PSF) in strengthening Rwanda’s business ecosystem. By creating spaces where enterprises meet consumers, investors, and government institutions, #PSF helps expand markets for locally produced goods and fosters a more competitive private sector. Looking ahead, the proposal to establish a permanent exhibition ground in the Eastern Province stands out as a strategic investment. A dedicated facility would reduce the costs of future expos while offering businesses a consistent venue to market products, network, and pursue new opportunities year-round. A stronger private sector means stronger businesses, more jobs, and greater economic opportunities turning exhibitions like the #PSF Eastern Province Expo into catalysts for regional transformation.
