Why the heck they need to "solve" 100 long standing problems? Do they think they are picking mushrooms? This is certainly not for benchmarking purposes (with 5 or 6 it will be fine). They probably don't want to leave any to their competitor (??). They don't want to leave any to their customers (??). Many of the solutions will be slop machine papers with a ton of Lean formalization. Are these of any use? I am curious to see what the advisory board has to say on that. Probably they appointed this advisory board to clean their face. I think I am moving to chinese LLMs that seem to behave more respectfully to MATHEMATICS. (Yeah....Kimi and DeepSeek are pretty good for math also)

A very common sentiment I'm hearing among math students: "I don't want to become a mathematician anymore." I've seen this before, I think the generation of digital artists who came of age around 2022 will be the last. AI might not functionally replace mathematicians or artists, but it might well cause their near-extinction anyway, by crushing the spirits of the younger generations.
