Wolverine is a gamer litmus test. It highlights the divide between people who are just interested in completing an interactive story, and those who actually want to engage with real gameplay. The latter group understands that the success of a game like this is bad for gaming overall. It’s a microcosm of everything that has gone wrong with video games.
