History lesson: House democratic judiciary chairman Peter Rodino hired 2 GOP lawyers to lead the Nixon watergate probe. The vote to impeach was bipartisan. The Supreme Court voted 8-0 to turn over the White House tapes. GOP senators Barry Goldwater & Hugh Scott told Nixon he would be convicted so he resigned. As Pres Ford said, our long national nightmare was over.

An intelligent press would do is to compare inflation under Biden with inflation in other countries at the same time and compare inflation under Trump with inflation at other countries. All western economies had inflation, post pandemic.

Am I the only person to recall that Trump tried to take credit for a good economic numbers in 2024 when Biden was still president but he refuses to take responsibility for bad numbers when he’s been in for almost 2 years.

During the time the league’s investigation has been proceeding, York has stayed away from the 49ers first three regular-season games, as well as from NFL league meetings. Those three missed games are counted toward his suspension, and he may return on Tuesday, Oct. 20.

This pathetic Republican senator accused Jack Smith of attending an Atlanta Hawks game to meet Fani Willis, claimed he had texts to prove it, wouldn't let anyone see them, then said Smith perjured himself.
All of that was false. Smith actually went to see an Iowa Hawkeyes game when they were playing in Maryland.

Schmitt concocted an elaborate conspiracy theory that Smith traveled to Atlanta to go to a Hawks game and collude with Fani Willis, and briefly displayed his "evidence" on a poster board before accusing Smith of perjury. There's just one problem -- Schmitt's facts were totally wrong. Smith was actually in Maryland at a Hawkeyes (not a Hawks) game and never met Willis. As Klobuchar told him, "You have your teams wrong."
