I just voted for Dr. Amy Acton in Ohio because she supports reproductive rights and pre-adult rights.
When my gf said she was pregnant I was happy, but as it settled in how much it'd cost on my teacher salary in Trump's economy we realized it was better to invest in ourselves first. Her body, her choice.
And as a teacher I've seen firsthand the damage COVID lockdowns and AI have done to our kids where there's no substitute for a dedicated public professional offering a safe space to explore complex subjects that their parents or for-profit institutions otherwise might not feel comfortable doing with tolerance. Mother Amy will take the fight to bad parents! ✊
