The most dangerous trade is sometimes the one you’re most convinced you understand. You’ve studied the charts. You’ve checked the market. You’ve found a reason to believe the price is going up. Everything adds up, so you enter. But what if the price you’re relying on is outdated? What if the market is showing signs that contradict your thesis? What if the very evidence giving you confidence is only telling you half the story? That’s the problem we wanted to tackle. Because in trading, finding reasons to enter a position is only half the work. Understanding what could make that decision wrong matters just as much. The challenge is that market information doesn’t always come together neatly. Price data, market signals, news, and opposing evidence can tell different stories. A trader may have access to all of them and still struggle to connect the dots, identify conflicting signals, Or recognise when the reasoning behind a trade is no longer supported by the evidence. And simply adding more information doesn’t necessarily solve that problem. What matters is being able to examine the information, question the assumptions, And understand what it actually means for the decision you’re about to make. So, for the @bitget AI Hackathon, we built Mirrorline. An AI-powered trading desk that puts your market thesis under pressure, examines the evidence behind it, And helps uncover the risks and assumptions you might have missed before making a decision. The idea is simple. Don’t just look at the trade you want to take. Look at what could change your mind. And now, you can see it for yourself. What could you build with verifiable AI? Here’s what I’d build: A Verifiable AI Resolution Engine for prediction markets. Think about a prediction market asking: “Did this event actually happen?” Sometimes you can’t answer that with a price feed. You may need to read documents, check evidence, and understand what actually happened. AI can do that part. But there’s a problem. If the AI’s answer determines who gets paid, do we really want to just say: “Yeah, the AI said so.” Probably not. So here’s the idea. Before the market even opens, you define: • the AI model • what evidence it can use • the question it needs to answer • how it should answer • what counts as a valid result • what happens if someone disagrees Then, when the market closes: Question → Evidence → AI → Baranos verification → Challenge if needed → Settlement The AI can do the heavy work offchain. @BaranosAI handles the verification. And if someone challenges the result, the computation can be replayed onchain using the same rules. So the market isn't just trusting an AI response. There’s a defined process behind the answer. Why does this matter? For users: they get a clearer way to challenge a market resolution. For market operators: they get a reusable way to resolve markets that require AI to interpret information. For protocols: the final result can become onchain data that other contracts can use. And this isn't a random idea. Barano's white paper specifically points to prediction markets as an initial use case, especially markets that can't be resolved with a simple price feed. One important thing though: Verifiable doesn't mean the AI is automatically right. @BaranosAI can verify that the agreed model, evidence and rules produced a particular result. It doesn't prove that the result is true or that the evidence was perfect. That's why I think the interesting part isn't just: “AI can resolve prediction markets.” It's: Can we make the AI resolution process itself verifiable? That's what I'd build with @BaranosAI .
