I am hiring a talented and tasteful full-stack filmmaker for a three-month fellowship @PopVaxIndia, full-time in Hyderabad, to help the world imagine what the future of medicine will look like in our new world of abundant intelligence. We think medicine will be increasingly personalized and preventative, and the mechanics of healthcare will have to be entirely transformed to make that possible. A lot of this will look more like making science fiction than producing launch videos, though there will be some of that as well. I'm looking for someone who is as comfortable shooting and editing a short film entirely in real life as they are generating it entirely with AI, with the ability to seamlessly embed the one medium in the other. This is a paid position, and it has the potential (but not the requirement) to convert to a long-term role if there is mutual alignment. finally got the @orcahand working @PopVaxIndia interesting build - tendon driven actuation, and since everything is printable, fixes were easy to make the auto-calibration and tension adjustment were really convenient. the wrist ends up fairly heavy to house all 16+1 motors figuring out how to mount them securely to the openarms @sohamsankaran

as part of our robotics work @PopVaxIndia, trained a diffusion policy on @anvil_robotics openarm bimanual - pick up a bottle in one hand, pass it to the other, place it on a coaster. 80 episodes, with bottle and coaster start positions generalized along one axis the hand-off is solid - hits it basically every time. diffusion did much better than ACT here, which kept knocking the bottle over while averaging the trajectory on the lateral grasp. also generalizes to other bottles, though the one it trained on still pulls the policy hardest @sohamsankaran suggestions for improving this: no-op examples (shadows alone trigger a grasp attempt right now), varied arm start positions for recovery, and more data across both axes

At @PopVaxIndia , we’re building robotic systems to automate wet-lab workflows for mRNA vaccine and cancer immunotherapy R&D. Training policies for these tasks requires high-fidelity dexterous manipulation data, precision, and tactile feedback. The @wuji_global gloves look like a strong fit for what we’re building. @Yunzhe_Pan the Wuji team shared a quote with us, and we’ve been trying to move forward with placing the order, but haven’t been able to get a response. Would appreciate any help routing this to the right person so we can complete procurement.
