A turning point in The Telegraph? Project fear was right and ‘if anything have underestimated both the calamitous loss of international standing and the scale of the damage that six years of policy confusion and ineptitude has imposed on the country.’ telegraph.co.uk/business/202…

You are a wonderful physics professor & presenter. I wish your tweets were science related and lowering to gaze to the fools in government is disappointing. Please keep looking to the stars and shine not looking at those muppets in the gutter. You're better than this 😁 🌟 🌏 ♥

If you are saying stick to physics then that’s an automatic block due to the vacuous nature of the sentiment. Are you saying that?

Ok. So now what? Because presumably The Telegraph would have an absolute hissy fit if politicians started campaigning to bin the whole idea, rejoin the single market and customs union and start rebuilding everything they’ve helped trash since 2016.

Terrible opening line though. There’s no “revenge” on the part of remainers, establishment or otherwise. There’s sorrow at the fact this all was both predictable and predicted as being enormously against the national interest.

This is a game changer. It should put to bed any remaining arguments about "making Brexit work". ... Here's the most important quote. #BrexitReality

So are you saying the middle aged Millwall fan with the bulldog tattoo down the pub, who, after 6 pints gave me advice on the EU back in 2015, Wasn't the Geopolitical & Geo-economics expert I thought he was???

It was the Telegraph that foisted the liar Boris Johnson onto us. The paid him £200,000 p.a. for writing lies and deceit.

Jeremy Warner has been bravely trying to demonstrate the grim reality of Brexit to the zealots and dunderheads at the Telegraph from the beginning. He always saw it for the disastrous con it was

Truss, Johnson & the ERG have delivered a financial 'Suez' crisis and the two debacles have very similar roots: the belief in the UK being a great power, the belief in British exceptionalism and the hubris of unchallenged governorship.

Britain has acted like an arrogant, petulant teenager who decided to storm out of the family home because they reckon it’ll be easy for them to survive on their own. And then learns the hard way. Absolutely pathetic.

More like the fat 50-something with a combover who leaves his cosy but dull marriage because he thinks he should be snagging beach babes in their 20s, then is mystified at ending up single in a dingy bedsit staring out of rainy windows at a world that doesn't notice him.

Project Fear was the derogatory term the likes of the Telegraph gave to the informed opinion of experts.

What a shame they waited until it was absolutely impossible to keep up the pretence. Large parts of the UK press should be ashamed of themselves

Is the penny finally dawning that Brexit was and always would be hugely damaging and completely pointless except for those that wanted to create a captive state they could exploit

Utter rubbish. The economic catastrophe facing most western countries is primarily due to Covid hysteria, precisely as we predicted in March 2020.

Nope all wrong. The uk had two problems; the eu and our politicians. We got rid of one problem and the second one has now been exposed to everyone. Now we know for sure that the eu was running the uk.

I'm getting a bit of mental whiplash at the thought of the Telegraph saying such a thing. It's just so tiring to see people have the obvious truth dawn on them when it's far too late. I can't even manage a weary "we told you so" now.

everyone, remainers, leavers, should be absolutely livid at the gross failure of the press to thoroughly examine what #brexit would do and to warn people before the vote. Of course Cambridge Analytica wa grooming people via FB with anti immigrant rhetoric. What a mess

Of course!! But NO FORGIVENESS! There has been too much suffering! Our international standing has been trashed. Our children/grandchildren’s futures have been TRASHED!!! There are times when an apology JUST WON’T CUT IT! This is one of those times! 🤬 Forgiveness? Forget it!
