Tonight, we celebrated the City's annual Pops in the Park by the Rhode Island Philharmonic! This free event is always a great night to celebrate community and music at the iconic Roger Williams Park Temple to Music. This event was a collaboration between the City of Providence and our community partners - the Rhode Island Foundation, Washington Trust, Providence ACT, Parks Department, Roger Williams Park and KLR.

We are officially one week away from the City's annual Pops in the Park by the Rhode Island Philharmonic, happening on Wednesday, August 5 at 7 pm at the Roger Williams Park Temple to Music. 🎶 This year's event will feature outstanding overtures - favorites from theater, film and classical music. The Rhode Island Foundation is the presenting sponsor of this free event which is open to the public with food trucks on-site. In the event of inclement weather, the event will be held on August 6.
