Still true. More every day.
If you’re not proactively hardening your defi security right now, you (and your users) are sitting ducks. AI-powered attacks are getting smarter daily. Complacency = liquidation. Time to audit & build like your funds depend on it. 🛡️

LOL, so much for $STONK. The “organic ecosystem” narrative looks a lot less impressive when you actually look under the hood. On-chain researchers traced $56M in StonkFun fee-wallet sales in 30 days, with some of the busiest launches having more than half their supply sold through the reward mechanism. And now we’re supposed to believe this whole thing was just organic demand? $STONK wasn’t a revolution. It was a liquidity machine with a narrative slapped on top.

This the way.
I don’t even know if I have the right words for this, but thank you. Truly. ❤️ When the attacks stop being about crypto and start becoming personal, especially when family and children are brought into it, it hits differently. And having someone stand beside you in those moments means more than people probably realize. 🫶🏻 Somewhere along this crazy journey, you became more than someone I met through crypto @TheDarkShib. You became a real friend. Someone I trust, someone I respect, and someone who has shown me what loyalty looks like when things aren’t easy. I know your heart. I know how much you’ve poured into this community, often without asking for anything in return. I’ve watched you keep showing up when walking away would have been so much easier. And I’ve watched you take hit after hit and somehow turn it into another reason to build. 👊🏻 So thank you for standing up for me today. Thank you for having my back. And more importantly, thank you for being my friend through all of this. They can question us, mock us, attack us and misunderstand us. But they don’t get to define us. We know why we’re still here. We know what we’re building. And we know the truth about the road that brought us here. 🙌🏻 So keep building, Dark. I’ll be right here building beside you. Well, not really building but talking. 🤭 Wrong target, indeed. 🫶

Regarding who is behind the hack: I present to you THE LAZARUS GROUP. just linked this hack to the AFX hack, which stole $24M in July and was specifically attributed to TraderTraitor. The stolen XRP from Bitget was bridged and can be directly linked to the funds stolen in the AFX hack. Stay smart.

Back in March @nft_dreww and I warned about the risk of Magic Eden smart contract approvals as they began shutting down EVM ops Last night a team of the good guys led by @0xQuit proactively rescued $6 million of NFTs that were at risk due to approvals Talking about security isn’t sexy until something goes wrong. Well guess what? Something really wrong could have and did happen here. If your NFTs were rescued last night it should be a massive wake up call to improve your personal security. Go revoke those approvals, keep your long term holdings in wallets with no approvals whatsoever. When you plan to sell, move each NFT to a specific wallet dedicated for selling to separate your approvals risk from your vault And while I have your attention, hardware wallets and multisigs are still great, keep storing your seed phrases offline too. Security doesn’t need to be scary or difficult, it can be quite simple and work. You just need to own it!
I keep talking about this because it is super important If you ever sold NFTs on ETH or L2s with Magic Eden you need to revoke approvals. Specifically, if you still hold an NFT from a collection you sold on there it may be vulnerable as ME shuts down support for some products.

🚨BREAKING: KelpDAO sues LayerZero and its CEO over the $292 MILLION rsETH bridge exploit. KelpDAO alleges undisclosed risks and a 1-of-1 verifier setup enabled North Korea-linked hackers to drain 116,500 rsETH. The dispute centers on whether LayerZero endorsed the single-verifier configuration that KelpDAO says left the bridge exposed. LayerZero CEO Pellegrino calls the claims “meritless” and vows to fight them in Vancouver courts. KelpDAO says it is migrating to a safer bridge to protect users. The battle over responsibility for the $292 million exploit is now heading to court.

Please check your assets and revoke if affected.
The bulk of the damage is done, but there are still assets that are vulnerable to the exploit. I'm doing what I can to sweep what's left but hundreds of scammers are also doing the same. Whether you're affected or not, if you have open approvals to the addresses below, please revoke them. The open approvals can and will be used against you if affected assets are returned to your wallet while they're still open.

You’re BROKE for a reason. And it’s NOT because you bought a new phone, ordered takeout, or forgot to grind harder. The price of money basically just went UP. Reason is BOND YIELDs. Yeah, sounds boring... so here’s the SIMPLE version: A "bond yield" is basically the return investors demand to lend money to the government. Simple example: If the govt wants to borrow money, investors can say, “Sure, but pay me more because inflation is high, debt is huge, and the future looks messy.” That “pay me more” is the bond yield going up. And because govt debt is seen as the safest loan in the economy, it becomes the starting point for almost every other loan. So if the “safe” borrower now has to pay 5%, your bank is not giving you a mortgage at 3%. They’ll also charge you MORE. Mortgages rise. Car loans rise. Credit card rates rise. Landlords push rents higher. Companies raise prices, slow hiring, or cut pay. That's how a boring bond chart turns into your wallet. Now you ask, "WHY are yields going up?" Because govts borrowed TOO MUCH. They kept borrowing again, and again, and AGAIN. Now investors are asking, “Are you actually good for this?” So they demand a higher return before lending more. That higher return is the YIELD GOING UP. So when money gets expensive, everything built on borrowed money gets expensive too. So NO, don’t blame yourself why you're BROKE. Blame the GOVERNMENT. Blame the SYSTEM. Blame the DEBT cycle. They borrowed from the future. Turns out, you were the future.

At 9AM EST today somebody abused a bug in Payment Processor V2 to steal 10 Meebits, 50 Otherdeeds, 10 WoW, and 235 Desperate Apewives. It wasn't until over 12 hours later that somebody reported it to me, and upon digging in I realized that a great many NFTs were subject to the same exploit. I got in touch with the team over at LimitBreak and they quickly paused Payment Processor V3, which was subject to the same exploit. Unfortunately, V2 was not pausable, so the only path towards protecting affected assets was to run a whitehat operation. Similarly, V3 on ApeChain is temporarily in a state where it cannot be paused, so ApeChain assets approved to V3 needed to be saved as well. All in all, we rescued 23,155 NFTs worth north of $5.7M USD. We later discovered that a similar exploit could be used in reverse to steal WETH. 660 WETH was at risk, which we unfortunately were not fast enough to recover. Apologies to those affected. Shout out to @Boomskite for flagging the initial exploit tx to me, and @coffeedev @0xjustadev and @whiteoakkong for acting quickly and assisting with the recovery. All NFTs are safely relocated. Soon, owners will be able claim them back after revoking the exploitable approvals. Addresses to revoke below.

🚨HUGE: Tether CONFIRMS $183 BILLION USDT on BITCOIN, with Morgan Stanley reportedly in talks. Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino has confirmed that USDT is coming to Bitcoin, after denying plans for a separate Tether blockchain last month. The bank is reportedly discussing a rollout of USDT on Bitcoin in Europe and globally. If Morgan Stanley follows through, the world's largest stablecoin could gain a major new route into institutional settlement. A big move that could reshape how crypto liquidity moves across markets.

⚠️ALERT: 3,832 NFTs worth over $1.5 MILLION rescued after old Magic Eden Ethereum approvals left them exposed to being taken for 0 $ETH. The move was reportedly done as a whitehat rescue, with the assets expected to be returned once they are no longer at risk. Magic Eden has not confirmed an exploit yet. If you ever used Magic Eden on Ethereum, revoke old NFT approvals immediately.

Bitget: user funds are safe. Bitget security:
At 18:31 UTC on September 24, 2026, Bitget’s security systems identified unauthorized transfers involving a limited number of hot wallets. Our security team immediately activated emergency response procedures and began a full investigation. Based on our current assessment, approximately $351.6 million in assets were affected. Bitget’s cold wallets and the overwhelming majority of platform assets remain secure and unaffected. Most importantly, user funds remain protected. The incident falls within the coverage of Bitget’s User Protection Fund, which currently holds more than $464 million. Customer account balances remain accurate, and deposits and trading continue to operate normally. As a precaution, withdrawals have been temporarily suspended while our teams complete a comprehensive security review. We have identified and flagged the relevant transfer addresses and have formally engaged law enforcement agencies and leading on-chain security partners. We are working around the clock to restore withdrawal services as soon as it is safe to do so. Bitget will provide further updates through our official channels. We will not speculate on the attack vector while the investigation remains ongoing. Our focus is on protecting users, securing all systems, and delivering complete transparency throughout this process.

So which part actually bothers you? That Zama FHE is already live on Ethereum, Polygon, BSC, HyperEVM, and the Zama Gateway...and still not live on Shibarium? That the protocol is already in use: ERC-7984 wrappers (cUSDC, cUSDT, cWETH, cZAMA, cBRON, tGBP, XAUt), portfolio, shield/unshield, swap, staking, Morpho confidential vaults, Merkl incentives, Bron confidential payroll, TokenOps, CMTAT, T-REX/Tokeny, Blockscout ERC-7984 support, plus builder apps like Paychain, Senza, and MARC? All of that shipped before Shibarium delivered the FHE/Alpha Layer integration that was promised. The stack is public. Zama did their part. What’s missing is someone on Shibarium actually implementing it. Using a permissionless protocol that already exists is not “leeching Shiba Inu FHE.” That integration isn’t live. Zama IS NOT Shibarium, and I'm sure @randhindi would agree
