NEW: AP obtained federal records showing where 4.5 million migrants said they were going after being released at the southern border, down to the ZIP code. They came from more than 150 countries, led by Venezuela (773K), Cuba (539K), Mexico (404K), Honduras (388K) and Colombia (354K). Also on the list: India (85K), Russia (46K), Senegal (30K), Turkey (30K), Mauritania (20K) and Uzbekistan (16K). Democrats' border policies opened the door, and migrants livestreaming their journeys on TikTok, Facebook and WhatsApp spread the word on how to follow. You can search AP's map by ZIP code, county, or state to see which nationalities settled in your area. apnews.com/projects/border-c…

Should've given Christa Pike some Remdesivir and put her on a ventilator for a few days. That woulda done it.

Tesla Deliveries land tomorrow a.m.: The EV Winter Thaws • For the Sep quarter, the Street is looking for 461k, down 7% y/y. • I’m looking for 497k, which would be flat y/y. • The Street’s looking for a decline because of the tough comp from the US EV tax credit sunset last September. • The broader EV commentary has turned more cautious recently, with sales of GM EVs down around 70% y/y. • I believe the opposite is happening, that we’re exiting the EV winter that started three years ago. Tesla demand is stronger than expected based on a combination of continued high gas prices and the word slowly getting out that FSD is the real deal. • U.S. extended lead times point to stronger demand. I estimate about 40% of deliveries are in the U.S. Since last fall, Model Y and Model 3 lead times have essentially doubled, going from around 5-6 weeks to about 10 weeks. That’s an average across all trims. $TSLA

Played the old one - too bad
The Yale Golf Course just got a $30 million Gil Hanse restoration. Now, Yale is charging $350 for the public to play…with poor and patchy turf conditions. So, what happened? “For them to drop the ball, that doesn’t surprise me.” nytimes.com/athletic/7640599…

The Norm entrance jokes on Cheers were famously tough to write. George Wendt delivered 200+ of them over 11 seasons. As the show’s popularity grew, so did expectations. Writers said the real genius wasn’t always on the page; it was Wendt’s physical comedy, delivery, and timing.
