I don’t think the internet needs another person pretending to know exactly what happens next. I’m here to share how I think about markets, AI, data and the world changing around us. I’ll get things right. I’ll get things wrong. I’ll change my mind when the facts change. The goal isn’t to look smart every day. It’s to understand a little more than I did yesterday. No signals. No certainty. Just my perspective. Think freely. Decide for yourself.

AI is dangerous if handled badly. So are nuclear reactors, airplanes, cars, chainsaws, pressure cookers and apparently stairs if you use them wrong 😁 Risk needs managing. That doesn’t mean you stop building the technology.

October has been green in 7 of the last 9 years for $BTC. Average return: around +18%. Not saying Uptober is guaranteed, but if $BTC carries this momentum into Q4 and clears the current range, October could get stupid fast.

Sergey is at a Federal Reserve conference explaining why banks may eventually have no reason not to use blockchain rails if they’re cheaper, faster and easier. And he’s saying it in a room with BlackRock, Vanguard and others. That tells you where this conversation is now. It’s not fringe anymore. It’s becoming part of how serious financial institutions think about the next version of the system.

Banks spent months warning that stablecoins could pull deposits away from them. Now they’re rushing to bring crypto into their own systems. Maybe the CLARITY delay wasn’t for the banks, but it’s definitely giving them time to make sure customers won’t need to leave them once the rules are clear.
🇺🇸BREAKING: White House blames big banks for killing the CLARITY Act over fears stablecoins would drain their deposits. White House crypto adviser Patrick Witt says opposition to the bill was "a wildfire that was started by larger banks that ultimately spread to community banks." He says Trump was willing to divest his crypto or place it in a blind trust, calling it the most restrictive ethics provision "that has ever been agreed to by any president." Witt called the attacks on Trump "somewhat ironic," given that "a lot of senators on banking committees" actively trade stocks in the financial companies they regulate.

$BTC went lower again. Yesterday I pointed out that liquidity was still sitting around $82.5K-$83K even after the first downside hunt. $BTC has now dropped to $82.85K and attacked that area too. Now the map is getting interesting. A lot of the nearby liquidity below has been hit, while some of the strongest remaining concentrations are sitting above price. There’s a big stack around $85K-$87K, with the 24h, 48h and 3-day maps all showing liquidity up there. That doesn’t mean $82.85K has to be the bottom. More liquidity can always build below. But $BTC has spent the last two days chewing through the downside pools. A lot more is now sitting above.
$BTC went hunting lower. In my last update, a lot of liquidity had built underneath price around $83.5K-$84.5K. $BTC has now dropped from $87.2K to a low of $83.51K, attacking that liquidity almost exactly. Now the map has shifted again. A lot of that nearby downside liquidity has been taken, while fresh liquidity is sitting above price again. The biggest nearby concentration I’m watching is around $87.2K-$87.4K. There is still liquidity lower around $82.5K-$83K, so the downside isn’t empty. But this is why I keep tracking these maps. Liquidity builds. $BTC hunts it. Then the map resets.

$BTC liquidity update. In my last post I pointed out the large liquidity sitting below around $83.5K-$84.5K. $BTC bounced back toward $87K, but couldn't hold it. Now we're back around $85.6K and moving toward that lower liquidity again. The $84K area is still one of the strongest nearby pools on the 24H, 48H and 3D maps. There is still plenty above around $87K-$88K. But I'm sticking with the call here. I think $BTC goes hunting below first. $83.5K-$84.5K is still my target zone.

$BTC liquidity has shifted again. $BTC ran all the way to $87.4K, but has now pulled back to around $85.1K. What stands out is what happened to the map. A lot of liquidity above was attacked during the move up. Now some of the strongest nearby liquidity is sitting below price, around $83.5K-$84.5K. There is still liquidity above around $86K-$88K, so both sides are in play. But compared with yesterday, the map looks very different. $BTC went hunting higher. Now a lot of liquidity has built underneath.
