With Georgia losing to unranked Auburn at home, Alabama losing to Georgia at home and by double digits to Tennessee, Tennessee losing to 3-3 South Carolina, Ole Miss losing by 24 to Florida and to Texas, LSU losing twice, and Texas losing to unranked Oklahoma and to Florida at home, the SEC’s chances of getting multiple teams in the CFP were significantly damaged.

I know the national media is going to spin this as Texas Tech being a bad team. But if this were the SEC, this loss would be labeled as how deep the conference is and how much of a grind it is week in and week out. Unfortunately, the Big 12 doesn’t get that same respect.
