??? stay tuned... 🛠️ Former Creative Tools Designer for @FNCreate @EpicGames

Day 8 of UI/UX Skills Learned a lot by adding this frame. Lots of little lighting and shaping tricks. I started to freehand without the tutorial near the end to start creating the effect I wanted. Really starting to feel the understanding. 😊😊😊 Open for Verse/UI work
Day 7 of UI/UX Skills Going through tutorials to build my knowledge base. The goal isn't custom quality yet, it's committing time and building knowledge. Using AI just for asking questions. Invest in your own skills, with AI for assistance. This is a Candy Crush button 😊😊😊

Epic's Unreal Engine, running in a browser tab. Not a video. Not a stream. Your own graphics card. Nanite, Lumen, multiplayer servers in WebAssembly, and gameplay in TypeScript. #UnrealEngine #WebGPU Prompt for you agent 👇

Fun fact, @TimSweeneyEpic first noted the ideas and principles that Verse traces back to in 1999. Then in 2006 he presented the core concepts at the Principles of Programming Languages conference in the paper "The Next Mainstream Programming Language: A Game Developer's Perspective". Finally in 2019 a team was finally assembled at Epic to build it into what Verse is today.
Tim Sweeney -> Self-taught programmer -> Designed three programming languages -> Wrote UnrealScript’s compiler and VM himself -> Building his latest, Verse, with the creator of Haskell and the co-creator of Scheme @TimSweeneyEpic is a pretty cracked programmer if you ask me.

We’re incredibly excited to share that Hawthorn is an #EpicMegaGrants recipient! This is a huge help for our small, independent team, and will support what we’re building with #UnrealEngine 5. Thank you for supporting us as we bring the world of Hawthorn to life! #IndieGameDevs

I'll keep saying this but if you have to do UI work this is the best resource, so much inspiration!
Can't believe how close we're getting to the 2000 games mark... it only took six years! 😁 gameuidatabase.com

😔😔😔 Sad face... this is TOO much like @BroccoliGames Coffee Caravan. Like use the power of AI to be creative at least. You have the power of a genie at your fingertips folks. Use that extra time you gain to do research and experiment. It's a beautiful time to be an indie.
This developer didn't want to hide the fact that he uses AI👏 data show he did make $200k!

It's a beautiful age for those of us who have subscribed to Reductionism as a philosophy. EVERYTHING is kung fu. 😉😉😉

It’s a shockingly smaller relevant state space than we previously thought. For example, the fact that we can have a high quality generative image model in the same space as 1000 photos says there is far more regularity than anyone imagined.

This is the world I want for every game creator. The technical side handled, and the artistic side fully driven by humans. I'm sooo excited that this future gets closer and closer. And the smart engineers know that to get here we require better structure, not slop. ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥
it's OVER! I never had SO much fun during a game jam usually you get stressed, hit last-minute bugs, and the result looks like slop with agents I could spend all my time iterating on art style, gameplay, and content it's wild what you can do in a weekend now @threejs #ldjam

Hyper Scape is returning. We've worked on it for almost a year :)
Scapegoat: The Hyper Scape Revival Here's a teaser, the first multiplayer clips of gameplay in 2026! Super excited to get you all on board, we aren't releasing quite yet, but we're closing in on it. If you're interested in playing sooner than later, check out the post below.

This team is absolutely cooking. I'm so excited for their work. Before I got into financial struggles and shift of focus in my life, I got to peak behind the curtain and they are brilliant. ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥 One of my all time favorite games. This one deserves the second chance.

Realm Royale, Spellbreak(SICK GAME BTW), Rumbleverse, & Islands of Nyne, Radical Heights, HYPERSCAPE(!!!!) there were so many unique and interesting BR’s before, nowadays we just get slop updates and the same stuff recycled over and over.
"You wanna talk about a game that got overlooked and was actually a ton of fun to play, Realm Royale" Honestly one of Tim's most valid takes, Realm Royale slapped

I think most people multi-tasking with agents could benefit from slowing down most of the stuff you're doing wont really matter- what's your P0? what would it look like if you gave it your full attention?

Worth mentioning that at Epic, we’ve been experimenting and monitoring the development of AI production tools for several years. It feels like we’ve now hit an inflection point where they’re genuinely adding value for developers. So time to fully commit.
Replying to @MoralzzX
Developers who are getting value from AI should speak up. There's safety in numbers. MOST developers are doing it and loving it - and if they're not talking about it it's mostly out of fear for haters attacking them, their product, and their company.

This type of stuff is what has slowly driven me away. You’re literally pushing out devs because of this type of behavior. We’re so tired of the “wrist slaps” do more, make it more difficult to scam… it’s been YEARSSSSSS. The moving in slow motion to take action is exhausting.
Wdym if they continue?? Just ban them gosh 🤦‍♂️

I've never commissioned an artist because I've never been able to justify the expense. I've always used whatever tools were available to create things for my own projects. AI is simply another tool in that toolbox. You're not losing a commission from me. That commission was never going to exist.
“I can’t afford art right now” is not a valid excuse to use AI

My hypothesis, after months of building with agents every day. Software work has three parts. Deciding what to build. Building it. Checking that it works. For decades the middle part was the expensive one, so we organized everything around it. Job titles, team sizes, estimates, how agencies charge. Agents are collapsing the middle. The two ends aren't getting cheaper at all. If anything they matter more, because a bad decision now gets built in an afternoon. So the valuable person is whoever owns the ends. I call that person a product builder.
