This is a terrible outlook. 4 years of Democrat control is another Biden administration; you think 11million illegal immigrants was bad? They'll double it. They'll triple it. They'll do whatever it takes to make sure that Republican efforts at aggressive deportations can't undo the damage done by mass invasion. But on one narrow point, he has landed somewhere I recognize: If officials abuse their power, Congress should investigate them, subpoena records, hold hearings and—where the constitutional standard is met—consider impeachment. Fuentes is right about this: Republicans have failed America so profoundly that they have no credible political future. But replacing the GOP won't fix a system that turns political influence into a private market. Super PACs raise unlimited sums. Lobbying is an industry. Big checks open doors. Candidates become brands, and hidden donors help shape the choices voters get. Politicians should answer to the public. Too many answer to whoever funds them. The dependence on private money has to end.
