🔥 BREAKING: TED BUNDY LINKED TO ANOTHER MURDER — 52 YEARS LATER.
Utah authorities announced today that new DNA evidence confirms serial killer Ted Bundy murdered 17-year-old Melissa Ann Smith in 1974.
Melissa was the daughter of a local police chief. She disappeared on October 18, 1974, after meeting friends at a pizza restaurant in Midvale, Utah.. Her body was discovered nine days later in a wooded area.
In a wild coincidence, today’s announcement comes exactly 52 years to the day that her body was found.
Bundy never confessed to killing Melissa, but he was always the prime suspect.
Now, nearly 38 years after his execution, advances in DNA technology have finally allowed investigators to close her case.
Investigators matched DNA evidence from Melissa's case to evidence from Laura Ann Aime's murder, which had already been linked to Bundy through DNA testing.
And the breakthrough raises another chilling question: How many more of Bundy’s victims remain unidentified or unconfirmed?
