Ahmedabad: A Hindu woman municipal corporator from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and her family were travelling from Isanpur with her son and two other people to a Raas Garba event in Ahmedabad on Saturday night. Shoaib Shah Fakir, allegedly stopped the corporator’s car and abused her family. When the corporator lowered her car window to speak to them, one of the accused allegedly grabbed her hand and attempted to pull her out of the vehicle. The men also allegedly tried to break the car window and open its door. The vehicle’s side mirror was damaged during the incident. The family called the emergency helpline 112 for assistance.
