I was honored to be on campus at the Baylor School in Chattanooga this morning and to be recognized for my assistance with the school's recent shoreline restoration project. This project helps mitigate erosion along the campus's Tennessee River waterfront and gives students new opportunities to learn about environmental stewardship along this stretch of our river.

As we recognize Constitution Day this week, I was honored to take part in the annual tradition of reading our Constitution on the steps of the Joel Solomon Courthouse in Chattanooga. Seeing so many Chattanooga students reminded me that our Founders’ values live on and America’s best days are ahead.

It was a privilege to speak with everyone at the Nuclear Cleanup Caucus meeting. Our work cleaning up legacy nuclear sites keeps our land and water safe, protects public health, and opens new economic opportunities in our communities. Thank you all for being part of this important mission.

The Tennessee Valley continues to play a leading role in the future of fusion energy. 🇺🇸🤝🇬🇧 We’re working with the State of Tennessee and the United Kingdom to strengthen collaboration and help accelerate the commercial deployment of fusion energy, with a focus on strengthening supply chains, developing the workforce and supporting effective regulation. The collaboration builds on fusion projects already underway in Tennessee and the United Kingdom, including the Project Infinity in Tennessee and the UK Infinity Fusion Consortium. Together, these efforts connect expertise from TVA, Type One Energy, Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Tokamak Energy, the UK Atomic Energy Authority and partners across the fusion supply chain.
