I was honored to be on campus at the Baylor School in Chattanooga this morning and to be recognized for my assistance with the school's recent shoreline restoration project. This project helps mitigate erosion along the campus's Tennessee River waterfront and gives students new opportunities to learn about environmental stewardship along this stretch of our river.

As we recognize Constitution Day this week, I was honored to take part in the annual tradition of reading our Constitution on the steps of the Joel Solomon Courthouse in Chattanooga. Seeing so many Chattanooga students reminded me that our Founders’ values live on and America’s best days are ahead.

Adam Telle is the man for the job. Having known him for many years, I can personally attest to his integrity, tireless work ethic, and deep devotion to serving our country. Adam has always put service above self, and I know he will lead the Army with the same dedication and common sense that have defined his career.
