25 years ago today, Americans watched in horror as al-Queda terrorists attacked our nation. Thousands were killed and wounded in this unprovoked aggression. The assailants who carried out and planned these attacks were no less than pure evil. Like most Americans, I remember the fear and panic of that day vividly. I also remember the acts of pure heroism by first responders and everyday citizens. Today I join in the pledge to never forget 9/11 and the lives lost to this tragedy.
