Higher diesel prices mean higher production costs for businesses, which get passed onto the consumer.
HISTORICALLY, a 10-15% increase in diesel costs leads to a roughly 2-4% increase in the cost of food.
Diesel costs are currently up 50%. Do the math.

This is what all Congressional Republicans and Trump really want by the way, another regime change war.
Trump's sons are profiting off the war through their billions in defense contracts and Congressional Republicans know that longer war means more money for them through the defense contractors who support their campaigns.
They don't care that prices skyrocket and troops die, the war is good for them and that's all they care about.
