Yesterday, I had the opportunity to meet with IW Sea Grant, NEW Water, and The Nature Conservancy in Green Bay.
I enjoyed connecting with members of their teams on the East River Trail and learning more about the many watershed projects taking place in Green Bay and across #WI08.

This is sick. The "party of democracy" has a serious problem with violence.
We polled five routes for Trump to leave office before the end of his term. A plurality of Dems support four of them, including a military coup and death by natural causes. The only one underwater, an assassination, is still supported by 29%.

The Restoring American Manufacturing Act, which codifies the SBA’s Make Onshoring Great Again Portal, connecting small businesses who seek to onshore their operations with verified U.S. manufacturers, producers, and suppliers. And the Cybersecurity for Small Businesses Act, which requires the SBA to work with the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency to provide small businesses with cybersecurity best practices.

Wisconsin GOP Governor candidate @TomTiffanyWI’s plane lost power and crash landed into a lake in north-central Wisconsin. Thankfully, everyone is ok.
Unfortunately the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel decided to downplay the whole thing since the lake is “only 30 feet deep”. When called out on it the reporter doubled down. Unreal.

God bless him, the pilot, and the first responders for their swift action. Wishing everyone who was on board a speedy and full recovery.
While returning home from the La Crosse County Lincoln Day Dinner tonight, the plane I was traveling in lost power as we approached the Wausau Downtown Airport. The pilot made an emergency water landing in Lake Wausau.
After landing, we called 911. As the plane began to submerge, we exited the aircraft and swam to a shallow area, where we waited until emergency responders reached us by boat.
I want to express my deepest gratitude to the pilot, the Wausau Fire Department, and all of the first responders who came to our aid so quickly. They got us safely off the water and transported us to Aspirus Wausau Hospital, where we received excellent care. Thankfully, both the pilot and I sustained only minor injuries.
God was watching over us tonight, and I am incredibly grateful to be here in the hospital with my wife, Chris, by my side. An experience like this reminds you just how precious life is.
