#TheGriphouseGlasgow #griphousefighter #BJJ #MuayThai Blocked by the Scottish Office 🤣 Operational firefighter in Glasgow city centre for 30 years.

Someone I know well who works in Pacific Quay has told me the news team have been briefed to put together 2 opposing articles about the data centres. Whichever one is against the Scottish government stance will be used to form a political attack.

Dear Atheists Please explain how the “meteor” hit all the dinosaurs but missed all the cavemen? I will wait…
Community note
The asteroid impact linked to non-avian dinosaur extinction occurred ~66 million years ago. No humans or cavemen existed then; Homo sapiens appeared ~300,000 years ago. usgs.gov/faqs/when-did-… nhm.ac.uk/discover/how-a… smithsonianmag.com/science-nature…

He means English people.
Labour will build a National Care Service. It will be just as great as our National Health Service. It is the patriotic and just thing to do. Everyone deserves decency and dignity in later life. Labour will deliver for the British people.

Fucking laughable.
We will defend the United Kingdom with all we have. We will not allow the nationalist and populist voices to destroy the most successful union of nations in history. From the NHS to Trade Union rights and beating fascism. We are stronger together. independent.co.uk/news/uk/po…

Long past the point others stopped I stuck to the notion John Swinney was a fundamentally decent guy, with whom I just disagreed. Recently though he’s shown himself to be far from ‘Honest John’. He’ll say anything, regardless of the truth. An odd way to trash a good reputation.

Monica Lennon says bullying allegations are "completely untrue". She says people who make "vexatious complaints or do hit jobs in the media" undermine genuine cases.

In Scotland personal care has been free for 24 years. It has not impacted the state pension but taxes are a little higher here for the better paid. Now, Westminster will restrict pension growth in Scotland to help pay for personal care in England. You Yes yet? @theSNP

Hey pensioners of Scotland, Remember when you were told your pension was safe if you voted no to independence. Well you're about to become poorer as they remove the triple lock to help pay for social care in England 😉 Happy retirement.

Never forget. This is what labour is. They lied to secure Scottish oil revenue for Westminster. They continue to lie.
Now we know why Burnham is refusing a second referendum. England needs our oil yet again. The cash cow must be kept at all cost.

Burnham says this cut to pensions is funding new care services in England - which appears to be same as what’s already available in Scotland. Burnham is in effect cutting Scots pensions to fund greater services in England. We have really hit the limits of Devolution.
🤔 Michael Marra on if the triple lock should end just 10 days ago - “No, I don’t believe it should.” Now his boss Andy Burnham says otherwise. Will he demand Burnham changes track - or will he just do what he’s told by his boss in London?

It's labour "use a dead relative for political gains" day.
When my mum passed away three years ago, it was with family, friends and amazing carers at her bedside. We owe the people who work in care - and the people and families that rely on them - this level of ambition.

Using your recently dead father for political gain. Absolutely shameless.
The Prime Minister on @GMB tells me: • there will be no early General Election “not this year, not next year”. • change to the pensions triple lock is “a better deal for older people”. • putting his late Dad at the heart of his tearful speech “it was emotional, it was hard but I hope I did him proud”.

Hugely impressive speech from @andyburnham He was honest and offered hope for a better country as he set out a vision for our children & grandchildren. And I say that as a pensioner.

No, it really fucking wasn't.
That was a very emotionally compelling case for keeping the UK together from Andy Burnham. He clearly feels that deeply. Is different from the kind of cold, structural case from previous Labour and Tory PMs.
