Abe San, you are missed.
Akie Abe, widow of former Japanese PM Shinzo Abe, inaugurated the Abe Memorial Corridor with UP CM Yogi Adityanath at Varanasi's Rudraksh Centre. She grew emotional recalling Shinzo Abe's 2015 visit, saying he revered Ganga & she had long wished to visit the sacred city of Kashi.

I have a thought- what if we introduced a Digital Adoption programme for these cheetahs? People could contribute towards their conservation, follow their growth, and receive updates/photos as they grow. The one on the left has my heart❤️ Would love to pitch in!
Another historic and joyous milestone for Project Cheetah! 🐆❤️ KJP21, a 32-month-old Indian-born female cheetah, has given birth to five healthy cubs in Kuno National Park today. KJP21 is the third Indian-born female cheetah to give birth, after Mukhi and KGP12—an important milestone in the emergence of the next generation of India’s cheetah population. With the arrival of these five cubs, the cheetah population in India has reached 60, including 41 Indian-born cheetahs. Importantly, these cubs also mark the beginning of the Botswanan lineage in India, as their father is a Botswanan male cheetah—adding a new genetic lineage to India’s growing cheetah population. Another generation born on Indian soil, adding yet another beautiful chapter to the remarkable story of cheetah reintroduction in India. Heartfelt congratulations to the veterinarians, field staff, managers and everyone associated with Project Cheetah, whose dedication, commitment and tireless efforts have made these moments possible. Welcome to the world, little ones 🐆 #WildlifeWeek2026

Nope. My joha rice comes from Assam. I don’t eat wheat/rotis at all. My vegetables come from Uttarakhand. My dals, pulses and mustard oil from my farm in UP. Ginger, turmeric from Meghalaya. Dairy is minimal. So yeah, I don’t think I owe my food to any particular state.

PM Modi gifts India’s finest cheese varieties to the Swiss Prez. A lovely opportunity to present Indian cheese to a country synonymous with cheese! The 3 varieties have won international awards. When PM had tweeted about Gulmarg winning an award in Brazil, I was intrigued and called for it. Was excellent.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi's gift to the President of Switzerland. Award Winning Cheese from India Gulmarg - French-style Brie: A heart-shaped, soft and creamy Brie made from pasteurised cow’s milk, with a snowy-white rind and earthy, mushroom-like notes. It received a Super Gold award at the 2026 Mundial do Queijo do Brasil. Konark - French Tomme-style Cheese : A rustic, natural-rind cheese with a supple texture, earthy and savoury flavours and a lemony finish. It won Gold at the 2023 World Cheese Awards in Norway and Silver in Switzerland in 2025. Yeoor - Mountain-style Cheese : An aged cheese inspired by Swiss Gruyère, matured for around 8–9 months to develop nutty, sweet and herbaceous flavours. Its rose-petal and fennel-decorated rind gives it a distinctive Indian-Alpine character, while its excellent melting quality makes it suitable for fondue and grilled preparations. Switzerland is famous around the world for its many varieties of cheese. Now, PM Modi gifted three special Indian cheeses - Gulmarg, Konark and Yeoor - to the Swiss President, giving a glimpse of India’s own rich and growing tradition of cheese-making.

Dharti ke Phool - mushrooms will never be the same for me
Nothing mediocre at the PM’s superb lunch for the visiting Swiss President—I hugely enjoyed every bit of it, except the lauki which I carefully avoided. Standout dish: the masala chai ice cream. Total win.

And just like that, the sexual harrassment complaints against a JNU professor have vanished in thin air. Did it not happen or sexual abuse by people belonging to their side of the political spectrum should be outright dismissed?

If you watch the post-race interview of Kiran Pahal, Prachi Choudhary, Vithya Ramaraj and MR Poovamma Machettira after winning the 4x400m gold, and look at their physique, you'll know the system in India has improved. We had 9 athletics medals at 2006 Asian games, now we have 24.
Whenever you are commenting about our performance in Asian Games and Olympics, always remember, there is a major difference between the medals won by Chinese, Koreans and Japanese and Medals won by Indians The Chinese, Koreans and Japanese win medals becsuse of the system Indians win medals despite the system.
