Wow. Conveniently OMITTED from UVU’s “independent” report: UVU Policy 425– §5.2.2. Once MEAC’s assessment identified event security concerns, UVU had to do one of two things: 1. Approve the event with required mitigating conditions, or 2. Deny it entirely and invite TPUSA to submit a modified request. UVU did neither. Yet the report fails to mention this part of 425 at all.
How can the report list policy 425 provisions it found “particularly relevant to the September 10 TPUSA event” and omit 5.2.2??
Maybe they thought that the full written policy 425 in effect at the time was not publicly retrievable? 🧐
