Dad. Partner to boss babe. Writer. Broadcaster. Senior Sports Analyst at WTOP. Jack-of-all-trades, master of none — but oftentimes better than a master of one.
Here we go y'all: Monday I start my role at @WTOP as the Senior Sports Analyst.
I am humbled and grateful for the opportunity to help deliver something relatable and authentic to our audience on multiple platforms at this pivotal time for sports coverage in the DMV.
WTOP is expanding its local sports coverage with a stronger focus on video, analysis and storytelling, bringing you closer to the teams and moments that matter most.

The Capitals loaded up on firepower this summer, but their season may be decided by a defense that ranked lower than it felt last year. I talked with @BenRaby31 to see how the Caps live up to their Cup promise with more than their reliable “eraser.” @WTOPwtop.com/washington-capitals…
Mike Tomlin coached the Steelers for 19 straight seasons without a single losing record. The whole time, he was quietly building a Minecraft city that almost nobody outside his house had ever seen.
He started it around 2014, when his kids were young. His reasoning was simple. "How do I meet them where they are and spend time with them?" So the most stoic man on an NFL sideline learned to place blocks.
Then the kids grew up. The city didn't stop.
Think about the schedule math here. He held the hardest job in football longer than any active coach, won a Super Bowl at 36, went 193-114-2, and still kept coming back to the same save file for 12 years. One world. One city. Through four Steelers quarterback eras.
The part that gets me is who pushed him to finally reveal it. His oldest son, the kid he originally picked up the game for, is the one telling him "Dad, you gotta share this with the world."
He built the city to get into his kids' world. Twelve years later, his kids are the ones bringing it into ours.
Instead of paying Micah Parsons $46.5M per year, the Cowboys traded him for two Round 1 picks and Kenny Clark.
They've now traded away a Round 1 and two Round 2 picks for Quinnen Williams and Joey Porter Jr., whom they will pay combined (assuming JPJ extension) ~$65.3M per year
The Cowboys have 20 players set to be unrestricted free agents in 2027 and six are represented by David Mulugheta: George Pickens, Joey Porter Jr., DeMarvion Overshown, P.J. Locke, Broderick Jones, Malik Hooker.
The No. 8 seed New York Liberty become the first team to punch their ticket to the WNBA semifinals behind a commanding Game 2 win at Barclays, 87-71.
The Minnesota Lynx become the first No. 1 seed in WNBA playoff history to get swept in their opening series. Another heartbreaking finish for Minnesota.
MLB playoffs are tonight but not for the Nationals, who improved by 11 wins and look further along in the rebuild than expected. I talked with longtime Nats beat reporter @MarkZuckerman about what they proved — and why the hard part starts now. @WTOPwtop.com/washington-national…
QB Marcus Mariota secured a $200,000 bonus with the #Commanders win today over the Seahawks.
Mariota earns $200k everytime he plays in 60% of the snaps of a Washington win (max 12) this season.

When you absolutely, positively, desperately need a first down, zone read when you haven't run it all game and nobody's expecting it is such a great call. Commanders just went there to win the game.
The Bills beat the Chargers despite committing 5 turnovers Sunday.🤯
Buffalo had lost 16 straight when committing 5+ turnovers, with the last win coming in 1997 against Indianapolis. The Colts QB that day? Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh.
