My parents took me to Al Kaline Day in August 1970. It's a memory I'll remember for the rest of my life.
Yesterday's @JustinVerlander goodbye, with his daughter sprinting into his arms on the mound, will remind me that baseball--America's Pastime--is not about pennants or statistics...it is about family and community.
Thank you JV...you were a source of eternal hope...each spring that the @tigers would mount a great season, that each of your games might result in a no hitter. Your starts were 'must see TV' and every chance I had, I'd go out to my Dad's and watch with him.

Met my 10 day old grandson today. Emmett Foster Sisson. He’s perfect in every but one….his mom is stationed at Wright-Patterson AFB…so Emmett will have to carry the stigma of being a native born Buckeye the rest of his life.

I spent summers in Otsego and Plainwell during childhood…the EPA has done incredible work on the river!

Yes. The Obama and Biden Administrations signaled loud and clear that fossil fuels were done and allowed lawsuit upon lawsuit against fossil fuel companies for climate change reasons. Thus, no reinvestment in refineries and no new refineries planned. We allowed China and India to lap us.
2008 was an oil crisis. 2026 is a refining crisis.

Since moving to Montana in 2018, I've had innumerable people share their negative perspective about Detroit. I explain that the city has undergone a renaissance since @onetoughnerd made the tough decisions and turned "The D" in the right direction. Digging deeper, their view is based on the fact that Detroit's professional sports teams are perennial losers. Maybe the best thing, today, that can happen to #Detroit is for the Illitch family to sell the @tigers and @RedWingsFeed to someone who will invest in winning?

I'm not a lawyer, but I don't think you're legally able to call someone--even a public figure-- a pedophile who has never been charged or convicted of that crime. Yet, @X @elonmusk , I see it over and over on this platform. At best, it is abusive and uncivil behavior, something @x purportedly cares about.

FORstag is FOR higher taxes. He'd tax your tips, he'd tax your Social Security, and he'd strip away the child tax credit that benefits working families like mine.

@potus is in the same position as Ronald Reagan two years into his first term. Tough decisions were made. Some china was broken. But, the US was clearly on the path of recovery and new-found pride. Voters in the first Reagan mid-term didn't recognize the profoundly positive trajectory then...we have a month to convince them now in order to save the republic.
