To think this company not only made incredible Star Wars games but genre defining, witty, imaginative adventure games too. And to think, Disney just shut them down without a moments thought.

Sure, it's the Star Wars factory. But just imagine if they greenlite original movies again. Like they once did with Raiders of the Lost Ark, Willow, Labyrinth and....yeah, Howard the Duck.

Ben Affleck says the "high-school bullying" of Tom Cruise's "Digger" will only lead to Hollywood studios making more "sh*tty" movies. "Everybody wants to celebrate this bomb as if it’s the most exciting thing to happen. And you think like, it’s a pretty ambitious, interesting movie made by interesting people who have talent. Everybody wants to count the money, what it lost or whatever. To me, I just think, if you punish movies that take risks, guess what you're going to get? A bunch of sh*tty homogenized movies. You cannot do something interesting without taking a big swing. And that means you're going to sometimes look bad." (via Happy Sad Confused) wp.me/pc8uak-1lHXy0

No, no, no, no. Leave them alone.
Mike Flanagan has his eyes on sharing his take on the ‘Jaws’ and ‘Jurassic’ universes after his television adaptation of ‘Carrie.’ In an ‘Ask Me Anything (AMA) on Reddit, Flanagan told fans it “could be a blast” to make a ‘Jaws’ or ‘Jurassic’ movie, as he also works on an ‘Exorcist’ film. “Honestly, I wish to hell I could make a JAWS movie... A JURASSIC movie could be a blast too, I’d want to go really scary with it. A true dinosaur horror film would be a blast.” See more details here: deadline.com/2026/10/mike-fl…

my art is better than AI slop
I'm sorry but when artists go like "my art is better than this AI slop" and then post art that's not like super impressive it's just really embarrassing.

A stunning tribute to Katsuhiro Otomo’s AKIRA, with Blanché recreating that same sense of enormous scale, brutal futuristic machinery and neon-soaked dystopian atmosphere. Blanché lists it as a personal work and specifically describes it as a tribute to AKIRA. It feels like a lost piece of concept art from Neo-Tokyo.
