Fox News accidentally interviewing the “MAGA is like Jonestown” guy
Fox: Why are you here this morning? Trump rally attendee: Well, in the late 70s, I was a little too young to go to South America for the Jonestown Massacre. But this is as close as I'll ever get, so that's why I'm here. There's nothing like seeing a cult right up front.

The Talarico donor base is remarkable. Just one zip code in CT gave more to Paxton. It's the small village of Marion, a place I hadn't heard of. Great mapping from @HoustonChron

Obama on Ossoff: "It's not just because he's so put together. It's not because he looks like a Kennedy, all handsome in the videos. It's because he learned from his mentor and my mentor. One of the greats. John Lewis."

America is so beautiful because you can find a Southern white guy who lives in a place called "Rock Hill" and who looks like this and they'll be an ardent Resist Lib
Host: Why are you here this morning? Trump rally attendee: In the '70s I was too young to get go to South America for the Jonestown massacre, so this is as close as I'll get. There's nothing like seeing a cult up close. Host: Alright, maybe this is not a Trump supporter

Every two years Obama emerges for two weeks, reminds us just how badly today's politicians pale in comparison, and then goes back into retirement.

This is like watching a perfect quarterback fake, when the entire defense gets fooled and he just strolls into the endzone.

Remember how I was saying El-Sayed watches Obama’s old videos? Ossoff has listened to every publicly available speech from Martin Luther King.
Ossoff: "Each day, Donald Trump digs the moral pit deeper. But Pastor Bryant, isn't it in Proverbs that says, Whoever digs a pit will fall into it."

I think it's worth reminding everybody that Obama once ordered spicy mustard on a sandwich in 2009, and the entire Republican Party mobilized around it to call him an elitist
OBAMA: I inherited this major financial crisis. I never called my Treasury Secretary and said, “You've got to go to Arby's. Order roast beef. No cheese though that may look elitist.” They don't have solutions to actual problems, so they'd rather have the media and you talking about the Cheesecake Factory.

Not surprised a guy from California doesn’t know Texas geography
In San Angelo, Ken Paxton, mumbling, forgets where he was hours earlier (he was in Odessa) and has to be reminded by a staffer off screen.

Talarico is 37 Ossoff is 39 El Sayed is 41 Forstag is 32 Rutinel is 31 Sand is 44 Democrats are struggling with young men, yet many of their buzziest candidates are young men under 45.

Perfect answer. I am impressed. Seriously.
Q: Are you the one who’s going to turn Texas blue? @JamesTalarico: I’m not interested in turning Texas blue. I wanna win this seat so that I can fight for all 31 million Texans — whether they’re Democrats, independents, or Republicans. My party talks about turning Texas blue a lot. Republicans talk about keeping Texas red. I think the best color for Texas is purple. When you have a purple state and competitive elections, it forces every politician in both parties to stay on their toes. My hope in this race is that we can end 30 years of one-party rule and get competitive elections back in Texas so politicians are actually solving problems.
