These people think children under 16 aren’t responsible enough to be anonymous on social media but they can be responsible enough to vote

UK PM Keir Starmer says the UK government will be lowering the voting age to 16 for all elections. Keir Starmer lost support big time from his voter base and now is looking for additional voters who he thinks turn his side.

No anonymity in Social Media is forcing everyone to have ID verification which can then lead to tracking, monitoring and surveillance

It's not about protection of childrens. They need to know your ID to catch you if you post a meme that said the truth and doesn't fit into their agenda.

Countries such as Spain have proposed that, in the event of regulatory violations, senior executives at tech companies be held personally liable—potentially even facing criminal prosecution.

Safeguarding children is important, but mandatory ID for all users raises serious privacy questions.

The 'save the children' narrative is the ultimate Trojan horse for total digital surveillance. By engineering a crisis around minor safety, bureaucrats are attempting to force a mandatory ID layer onto the internet's substrate. This isn't about protection; it's about eliminating anonymity and centralizing control over the digital town square. Anonymity is a feature of freedom, not a bug to be fixed.

If companies fail to prevent children under the age of 16 from using social media, they could face hefty fines. Under European Union (EU) regulations, companies may be fined up to 6% of their total global annual turnover.

I believe quality parenting is failing. Even if there are restrictions. Some parents would help there kids to pass through verification

Face ID = mostly all that is required. That's mandatory in AU now, track via IP for any further info if user commits any offences. Formal ID is unnecessary for the most part I would think.
