It wouldn't be Sunday without a race. Linlithgow 10K in the rain. Abbie's 47:12 was a course PB for her. I was happy with my 48:23 given my recent brush with the lurgy @RunComPod
Tip-toeing back to running, @RunComPod Celebrating my wife’s 50th Parkrun last week at a wet Southport, and my mate’s 400th Parkrun at a sunny St Helens this week. Only running a couple of times a week and sticking to the gym. #yourweekendruns
Another Sunday, another lush run in my home town. The #vitalitylondon10000 was wonderful - like the London Marathon but much, much shorter. Yes please!
Last long run before York @RunComPod with 23 miles to York and back starting with an awesome sunrise! Thanks for the shout out too!! 3 weeks to go! 😬🥵🏃♂️
Doubling up on a Saturday with a solid 10k on a lovely evening. Listened to the latest Running Commentary, thanks for the shout out and see you in York where I’m now pacing 4.30! 😊💪🏃♂️ @RunComPod
It wouldn't be Saturday without a Parkrun. A trip to the delightful, undulating trail course that is Plean. Abbie & I took it easy as we have a 10K race tomorrow while Suzy volunteered as a Tail Walker. @RunComPod
Having struggled all week with a heavy cold, I didn't manage any running so decided to volunteer as tailwalker at Plean countrypark, while @SStrath58072 and @abigail_s77 ran. Still managed to finish in 45th place in 51mins46. @RunComPod
Longest run since the dreaded shingles. There may have been some walking involved but 8 trail miles on the legs ready for Yorkshire 10 miles and the @RunComPod meet up - bringing some fellow club members along to join the community. 😁. #YourWeekendRuns.
An easy paced and undulating 10K this evening. Not what I had on the marathon plan but with this cold still hanging about probably the sensible option. @RunComPod
