They arrested him 10/1/25 @ 1:30 am without warning Muslim inmates burned his legs with cigarettes while the guards looked the other way. He was starved, denied clean water, medical care, and any protection. As the only Christian in his cell he was tortured, beaten !! he has been refused even the basic right to wash his face or take a shower. His head is crawling with lice. They tortured him behind closed doors in an attempt to break him and force him to renounce his faith. For the “crime” of following Jesus, Egyptian authorities sentenced this man of God to five years of hard labor legalized slavery. His mother died three months after the sentence was handed down. She literally died of a blood clot and grief 😔 It likely they denied him the chance even to bury her Pov he didn't get to attend her funeral . Egypt has now rejected Dr. Augustinos Samaan’s first appeal for freedom. Does Egypt have a conscious? Why is he still serving a five-year sentence of forced labor for his Christian faith when Egypt should be compensating him for everything they have done to him? 💔 Why is there zero accountability for the torture, the cigarette burns, the lice, the denial of food and water, and the systematic persecution?Egypt claims to protect the three divine religions while it crushes Christians under its boot.
