Encouraging WIVES are better than ROCKET FUEL.
The last two nights our son (5) woke me up around 1/2am with bad dreams & needing dad.
I crushed the gym the last few days (probably too hard) & am super sore & didn't get much recovery.
I also mentioned to my wife I'm a bit stressed with the RELEASE OF MY BOOK in Q1 2027 are requiring a lot of my time & energy lately & I feel like I'm falling behind.
LOW ENERGY DAY.
Nothing in my tank.
My wife pulls me aside.
I've got the kids all afternoon.
You rest, work, or do anything you want the next 4/5 hours & I got this.

My wife & I finished up our TRUST this week.
I worked at Chase Bank as a manager for many years & one of the scariest/saddest things I saw was when a husband would die & the spouse had zero clue how to access any of their money.
It's already the worst time in your life, don't complicate it by having that burden weigh over you & your family too.
Husbands & wives should have a system, trusted person, & plan for this.
A few things every couple should do:
1) Keep one simple list of accounts, policies, & where the docs live.
2) Set up a password manager with emergency access.
3) Name one trusted person who knows the full picture.
4) Review ownership, beneficiaries, & the plan together once a year.

When I was in college I wanted to be a rebel & counter cultural.

-Dropping out of college.
-Being a pro poker player.
-Rejecting the get a safe job narrative.
If college aged kids today wanted to be counter cultural they would:
-Follow Jesus.

We just wanted to send a quick note to thank you all so much for your support last week. It was, without a doubt, the scariest experience of our lives, and we cannot tell you how much it meant to know that when we reached out to our Care Advocate, there were no pre-approvals, permissions, or hoops to jump through. We were simply told, “Do whatever you need to do to save your baby girl.” In that moment, that meant everything to us.
After my C-section, Saylor was in such critical condition that I wasn’t even able to see or meet her. She was transferred to the NICU with Austin while I remained in the hospital recovering. For two full days, I could only see my newborn baby through FaceTime. Being separated from both my husband and our daughter, stuck in a hospital and completely helpless, was incredibly difficult.
We are so incredibly grateful to share that Saylor James was discharged from the NICU Friday evening! According to her doctors, she made a remarkable recovery. She went from being unresponsive and requiring resuscitation twice at birth to coming home with us just four days later. It truly feels like a miracle, and God is so good.
We wanted to share a few photos from our little journey so you could see the family behind all of this. The work you are doing truly matters, and your support gave our family one less thing to worry about during the most frightening days of our lives.
We will never forget it. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being there for our family when we needed it most.

Grateful for movement, a healthy marriage, purposeful work & I'm getting to chaperone my son's first DANCE tonight!!

I did 150 pull-ups & circuits this morning forgetting wifey booked us an HOUR LONG ROW CLASS for date night tonight!

Tired of Christians on X tearing each other apart.
There's a large swath of Christians on X who love to hate. You look through their pages and never once see them talk about the Gospels or being charitable.
Every day they find another believer to tear apart, and there’s always an audience cheering them on and the worst part is there's an audience cheering them on.
Think about this for a second:
If somebody who wasn't Christian landed on your page for the first time, would your behavior make them want to learn more about Christ?
If you're reading this and you're one of those people constantly causing division, I'd ask you to put yourself in their shoes.
Are you trying to bring people to church, or are you using Christianity to build an audience for likes and cheap dopamine hits?
