My huge interest in visionOS over other systems is not due to the input choice or ease of use But rather their focus on multitasking persistent elements in your “AR/VR” spaces To me, this is like if Valve decided to make a standalone HMD focused purely on SteamVR overlays 🤤

My feeling exactly when I was watching the WWDC videos on visionOS. Quest started out being more gaming focus, so now they have to deal with the growing pain of changing it to become a multipurpose platform.

Take this use case: you are remotely using flat Virtual Desktop con your Quest 3 because your want to use your favorite PC app. Then you want to check your WhatsApp on the quest. Wrong multitasking UX. VP will hopefully overcome this.
