Forensic Investigator turned Road Safety Advocate. Walked from Gulu to Kla to raise awareness, change attitudes and tackle the issue of #RoadSafety in Uganda
Passengers deserve dignity & safety. Throwing out a complaining customer mid‑journey is ILLEGAL under Uganda’s transport law. @MoWT_Uganda@PoliceUg must enforce rules: buses must carry passengers safely to destination, not abandon them roadside. #KezyMotorways
2/2: I’m pointing the finger at @GuluCityCouncil because their mandate is to keep our streets clean, enforce against illegal dumping, and protect residents. I’ve called their desk (+256 772 347812) but no response. @PaLabeja#Accountability#GuluCity
Something insightful I came across this week
AI is changing the way we think about what it means to be “smart.” The definition of intelligence may be shifting and this video offers a perspective I found genuinely fascinating.
It really made me rethink what being smart could mean in an AI-driven world.
Watch the full video,I would love to know what you think
If anyone in Gulu has Norfolk Island Pine (Araucaria heterophylla) seeds or cones, please share the contact. I’m looking for fresh seeds for planting. Thanks. @uwec_uganda @narouganda

1/7 Patriotism is not the blind love of a flag, nor the unthinking praise of a ruler.
It is the steadfast devotion to the people; their liberty, welfare & dignity.
Any govt that demands love for the nation while denying rights to its citizens mistakes obedience for patriotism
6/7 Consider the sharp example: when security forces suppress peaceful assembly and then accuse protesters of being “unpatriotic,” the accusation is hollow. Patriot demands accountability; a tyrant demands silence. The misuse of patriotism becomes a tool to excuse abuse @sejudav
7/7 Patriotism, rightly understood, is the defence of the nation’s future; not the flattery of its present rulers. It is the belief that Uganda belongs to its citizens, not to those who merely govern it. As Paine would say: “The nation is the people, and the people are sovereign”

@otafiire_k, now that you hold the bucket of water and sewage, your fiercest battle is not with pipes but with ghosts—corruption lurking in NWSC like crocodiles in muddy rivers

Reduce the cost of water, and you reduce the cost of life.
For every 20k saved, a family in Gulu eats for two days.
That is not arithmetic, it is dignity @otafiire_k

So, @otafiire_k, be the Minister who cleans corruption like rain washing dust from leaves.
Let water be cheap, clean, and abundant, then Uganda will dance again
1/7 @SsemujjuNganda1, the funny thing is this: the President wants Ugandans to believe that everything they ever knew about patriotism was a lie.
And behold, the only teacher of this “true patriotism” is said to be the @mkainerugaba
6/7 Let him make post‑exposure vaccines free, so no child dies for lack of a vial.
Let him patch these wounds, and then — yes — we shall gladly call him a patriotic and altruistic son of a gun.
7/7 For patriotism is not a slogan, but the saving of lives.
Altruism is not a portrait, but the lifting of burdens from the weak.
That is the lesson Uganda waits to learn
