Doug Ford Would Rather Import Workers Than Train Canadians! Doug Ford prefers temporary foreign workers over the people who were born here. Tuesday night was the Oilers home opener at Rogers Place. Before puck drop, the crowd rose to applaud a Canadian Army veteran. Video from the arena shows Mark Carney appearing to stay seated while the people around him stood. This is the same Prime Minister who put on skates for an Oilers morning practice so the cameras could catch him being a fan. He showed up for the photo op. He didn't stand up for the veteran.
