Sorry for the misunderstanding regarding my comments on First Take this morning.

"Now he calls it quits, not before the season. Not in the offseason…four games into the 2026 season, a dude that has been in the league forever, sits back and says I need to focus on my mental health" – Stephen A. Smith on Lane Johnson retiring

Brandon Miller and his camp are using recent deals given to Franz Wagner (5yr/224M), OG Anunoby (5yr/212.5M), and Amen Thompson (5yr/208M) in negotiations for his extension, per @BrettSiegelNBA (clutchpoints.com/nba/nba-sto…)

Give me four players; two you are way higher on than the masses and two you are way lower on. . . But don’t tell me which are which. I’ll start. Amen Thompson, Jaylen Brown, Keyonte George, Brandon Miller

Lakers halftime thoughts -They believe they can defend and so do I -half court offense a work in progress but still pretty good -Very impressed with the connective passing with this team -Lakers are FAST on both ends -Bronny ahead of Hardy was noticed -Adou looks comfortable -Looney while very limited athletically did all the things he’s good at well -Jake revival?? -Ziare and Thybulle legit are disruptors and this is without Kessler -Grimes & Mamu are transition demons -Kings STINK

Karl-Anthony Towns on his extension talks with the Knicks, per @SbondyNBA: "Simply put – I want to do something to keep the team together and can work with the Knicks and also values me. And none of those things are close to happening."

you've been waiting for this, for lebron to leave the lakers to show you're a lebron hater

Ja scrimmage tape has arrived 🤝

Luka has one finals appearance and two WCF appearances. Based on the hype on him, with no MVPs but six All-NBA first-team selections, has he lived up to his pre-draft hype? Disregard the INSANE decision by three teams to pass on him, most folks knew how great he was coming in

Jalen Duren's reps have made it clear to the Pistons that it’s no longer about the money, but that he feels disrespected by the process, particularly compared to how they handled Ausar Thompson's extension, along with weight clauses in earlier offers, sources tell @ShamsCharania.
