I’m supposed to perform the obligatory little ritual now and pretend both versions of this trade debacle deserve equal credibility. I don’t... I believe the Americans. Not because they’re American. Not because politicians suddenly became trustworthy. And certainly not because Donald Trump has been canonized. I believe them because the American account increasingly makes more sense. Greer, Lutnick and Bessent have spoken openly and specifically about what happened. Their accounts have been remarkably consistent. They can discuss the negotiations like people who were actually involved in them, without appearing terrified that an unsupervised adjective might escape and without a teleprompter. Meanwhile, what do Canadians get from our own government? Carefully sterilized language. Vague explanations. Missing specifics. Scripted talking points. Every sentence apparently passed through enough communications people and lawyers to remove any detectable trace of information. We’re being kept in the dark like bloody mushrooms while learning more about Canada’s own trade negotiations from American officials and American media than from the Canadian government supposedly representing us. And somehow we’re not supposed to notice how politically convenient the Canadian version is. We got: 👉🏻 Trump was unreasonable. 👉🏻 Trump changed the deal. 👉🏻 Trump threatened our sovereignty. 👉🏻 Trump forced Canada to walk away. Trump. Trump. Trump. Just keep Canadians sufficiently pissed off at Donald Trump and perhaps nobody asks the considerably more inconvenient question: ❓️ What exactly did Mark Carney walk away from, and why? Because after the Gordie Howe Bridge fiasco, I’m fresh out of complimentary benefit of the doubt. And here’s the part that absolutely reeks, discrediting any appearance of truth told by the liar in chief #MarkCarney... If Carney possesses documentary evidence proving Trump suddenly dumped outrageous, unacceptable demands onto Canada at the eleventh hour, where the hell is it? Seriously. Think about what that evidence would be worth politically. IF Carney had a piece of paper proving Donald Trump screwed Canada, blindsided our negotiators and forced our heroic prime minister to stand up, pound the table and walk away, the Liberal machine wouldn’t quietly tuck that document into a filing cabinet. Are you kidding me? ▪︎ They’d wallpaper Ottawa with the damn thing. ▪︎ They’d hold press conferences about it. ▪︎ They’d wave it around in Parliament. ▪︎ They’d quote it in fundraising emails. ▪︎ They’d buy ads with it. Every friendly pundit in the country would have a laminated copy by breakfast. CBC would probably commission a twelve-part documentary and an interpretive dance. It would be political rocket fuel. Carney could point directly at the evidence and say, See? I stood up to Trump. And considering how desperately this government wants Canadians angry at Trump, they would squeeze every last political drop out of it. Instead, we get: - Words. - Trust us. - Trump did it. - Don't worry about the details. - Just keep your elbows up and direct your anger toward the orange man south of the border. How extraordinarily convenient. And while Canada spends years shrieking about foreign interference, demanding security clearances for opposition leaders and warning us about other countries trying to influence Canadian politics, Canadian politicians seem remarkably comfortable inserting themselves into American partisan politics. Apparently foreign political influence is a mortal threat to democracy when it crosses the border heading north. Heading south? Nothing to see here, carry on. So enough of the carefully packaged Liberal bullshit. Release the negotiating documents. • Show Canadians the American demands. • Show us Canada's demands. • Show us what changed. • Show us when it changed. • Show us exactly what was sitting on that table when Canada walked away. Because if those documents prove Carney's story, his government has every political incentive imaginable to release them, and its quite odd that they haven't. Their continued absence doesn't prove he's lying, but it sure does suggest it! And considering the Americans are providing details while our own government feeds us verbal oatmeal, it sure as hell gives Canadians a reason to stop swallowing everything we're spoon-fed. Mark Carney isn't an oracle. He isn't our father. And Canadians aren't intellectually deficient children who need the PMO to decide which facts we're mature enough to see. Stop telling us whom to hate. Show us what happened. Then we'll decide for ourselves who is full of shit. #cdnpoli

Cut or tariff Canada's oil exports to the US? Horrible idea. Alberta Premier Danielle Smith does a fantastic jobs breaking it down: "I cannot think of a more disastrous policy decision than cutting off or taxing Alberta's oil to the United States." > US will respond with a 50%–100% tariff on fuels supplied to Ontario and Quebec. > US refineries would replace Alberta heavy crude with Venezuelan oil, cutting Canada off as a supplier permanently. > At least 500,000 jobs would be wiped out across Alberta, Ontario, and Quebec. > Retaliatory US cuts to gasoline and diesel exports would leave eastern Canada stranded without fuel right as fall and winter begin. > Canada has no reserves to supply Ontario and Quebec. > The Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) would nose-dive, devastating Canadian investments, and pensions. What most Canadians don't seem to realize is that the current oil prices is generating substantial taxes for governments that softens the blow of the tariffs, and big portion of it comes from the US.

In 2011 the Obama Admin deported almost 400,000 people. 22% of those deported were parents of U.S. born children. That's a lot of families separated. Some of the children were sent to foster care and never saw their real parents again. Some were deported with their parents. Thousands of cases of families being separated and it barely made the news. Democrats didn't care about migrants back then. They didn't care when migrants were dying and being trafficked at historical rates during the Biden years. And they won't care about migrants when a Democrat is back in the White House. Bots, trolls and personal attacks notwithstanding, the critics of yesterday’s post were dominated by a large and vocal contingent who rushed to remind me that there’s “a difference between socialism and communism,” an obvious indication that they didn’t actually read the post. Shelley Armour writes… “Mike! You know there is a difference between democratic socialism and communism, right?” Hi, Shelley. Yes, I know there’s a difference, and I understand what the difference is. The larger point, and the fundamental flaw with your comment, is that you seem to believe the candidates within the Democratic Socialist Party are both “democratic and socialist" simply because that’s the name of their club. Well, maybe some of them are. I really couldn’t say. What I can tell you for sure is that more than a few have called for the complete dismantling of capitalism, free markets, representative government, property rights, borders, police, prisons, and the Constitution in general. My post referred to them, as well as a number of elected Democrats who have agreed to campaign on their behalf – including Gavin Newsom, who said, "The Democratic Party must accept the DSA in order to take back the Congress.” His words, not mine. But what exactly is the corollary from the right? Are prominent Republicans tweeting, “We need to elect more Nazis! We need to elect more fascists! Eat the poor!” I don’t think so. John Engles may think Trump is fascist and a Nazi, but Trump disagrees, and so do a majority of voters. Communists, on the other hand, say it loud and say it proud. I’m inclined to take them at their word. We had just fought a hot war against fascism and Nazism and just begun a Cold War against a communist regime. The existence of an organized Communist Party in this country at such a time strained the limits of tolerance. But do you really think we’re less tolerant today than we were seventy-five years ago? Do you really believe my comments about communists who claim to be communists are synonymous with another Red Scare? If you haven’t noticed, Chris, no one in the DSA, including the communists, is being dragged before Congress and made to swear a loyalty oath to the Constitution. Today, a communist in America can run for office…with the endorsement of the governor of California! And the tacit approval of a major political party! Seems to me we’re about as far from McCarthyism as we can get. As for my desire not to alienate anyone, I suppose I am guilty of that. I run a foundation that is open to people of all political beliefs, and we’ve assisted lots of Americans who lean to the left. I also know for a fact that many Democrats have supported mikeroweWORKS historically, and I have no desire to run them off. But do you really have to “read between the lines” to understand where I’m coming from? True, I’ve never endorsed a candidate or publicly encouraged people to vote. But I’ve been very transparent about the fact that I’m a registered Independent who favors policies and programs that often align with conservative principles. Obviously, I would not characterize those conservative principles as “Trumpian,” because a) they were around long before him, b) Trump is not a conservative, and c) I do not agree with or support everything the President says and does. I have no idea what “money trail” you are referring to. Also, regarding my personal politics, think about the implications of what I wrote. I said that the Democrats have been given a gift – an opportunity to appear reasonable by speaking the truth to their own party, just as Bill Maher has done. All they have to do is distance themselves from candidates who have called for the complete dismantlement of our Constitution. All they have to do is say, “Hold on, comrade. Our tent is not that big. We respect your right to hate America, but we don’t want you in our party, and we will not support your candidacy.” If they say that, I think a lot of Independents would see them as they see John Fetterman, who has, in the eyes of many voters, become the most “rational” Democrat currently in office. If they don’t – if they actually welcome communist candidates into their party – then I’m afraid the Democrats, by default, will offer the American people a very simple choice in November – a party that disavows communism vs. a party that doesn’t. I think such a choice would be very positive for Republicans because I don’t think most Americans want to align themselves with a Democratic Party that welcomes communists. The question for you, Chris, is why would a “Full-On MAGA” like me encourage Democrats to act in a way that would disadvantage the Republican Party? And the answer is simple – it’s because I support the existence of a Democratic Party that believes America is still a fundamentally good place. I think there’s a lot of room for improvement in our country, and I believe the best way to realize those improvements is for Democrats and Republicans to have continuous, robust and public debate about all the issues. But if one of those parties is affirmatively determined to transform our democratic republic into a communist state, then we’re no longer debating the various ways to make our country better; we’re debating the merits of destroying it. And really, what’s the point of tolerating that? America is already a big tent, filled with hundreds of millions of people with wildly differing views and lots of political parties that represent those views. We’ve got the Green Party, the American Freedom Party, the Socialist Workers Party, the Constitution Party, and of course, the Communist Party USA, as well as the Democratic Socialist Party. America’s tent is so big, we can even tolerate fringe parties like the KKK, the Proud Boys, the Oath Keepers, and so forth. Why then, does Gavin Newsom want to make room in the Democratic tent for socialists and communists? There’s only one reason, and he’s already spelled it out for us – he believes the Democrats need them to win back the Congress. I think it’s a bad bet for the Democrats and for America. And if a prominent Republican reached out to the KKK with the same “big tent” offer, you’d better believe my vote would be in play. Let's take a walk through the "American justice system," shall we? Sharmake Omar is the Somali man who filmed Shiloh Hendrix on the playground in Minnesota that day in April 2025. In January 2022, he and another Somali man "allegedly" spent two days raping an underage foster care runaway in a trailer, keeping her falsely imprisoned. In March 2025, all charges were dismissed "in the interest of justice." Weeks later, in April 2025, he turned his camera phone on at the playground after a young Somali thief attempted to steal from a White mom, Shiloh Hendrix, and began haranguing that White mom for having said the word "nigger." Omar demanded that Hendrix repeat the word on camera, which she did - four times, while Omar himself said the word five times in the less-than-one-minute video. Four long months later, multiple "disorderly conduct" charges were maliciously brought against Shiloh Hendrix for the playground incident in which she was the only victim, and Sharmake Omar was the videographer. Then, last night, Shiloh Hendrix was CONVICTED - specifically for saying "nigger" to Sharmake Omar AFTER he demanded she say it, while he himself said it repeatedly. Her sentence is a $1,000 fine and 200 hours of community service. By the way, Sharmake Omar WAS NEVER CALLED TO TESTIFY in the Hendrix trial. But don't worry, that's not all the justice we have in store for today. Just keep the substance of Shiloh's "crime" - as well as her sentence - in mind as we move forward. Rewind to April 2020. That's when Sharmake Omar, our favorite Somali videographer, along with another Somali friend of his (separate from his alleged co-raper), committed a violent assault in the street. Omar threw a rock at a car, then attacked and beat the 16-year-old driver. A bystander tried to intervene, but Omar's accomplice threatened him with a knife. For this, Sharmake Omar was charged merely with DISORDERLY CONDUCT. Yes, for hurling a deadly weapon at a vehicle, then beating the teenage driver while his criminal pal held off onlookers at knifepoint, Omar faced the EXACT SAME CHARGE that Shiloh Hendrix faced for saying a word that Omar asked her to say, as she held her child in her arms and fled the playground before Omar could assault her, too. Like Shiloh Hendrix, Sharmake Omar was convicted on his count of disorderly conduct. His sentence? A $200 fine. That's it. That's the entire thing. So, to review: Rape an underage foster child for two days (allegedly)? Clean slate. Hurl a deadly weapon at a car and assault its driver? $200. Say a word to an accused rapist/kidnapper and convicted violent criminal who demands you say it while saying it himself? $1,000 and 200 hours - not to mention international infamy. Could the anti-White standard be any more egregiously in our faces? Seriously, everyone involved in prosecuting the Shiloh Hendrix case is unspeakably evil. This includes, but is not limited to: ~ Rochester City Attorney Michael Spindler-Krage ~ Lead prosecutor Nicholas Shabel ~ Judge Christa Daily, who ensured Shiloh's conviction ~ The Rochester NAACP ~ Rochester's "Community Engagement Response Team" ~ Rochester Mayor Kim Norton ~ Rochester City Council President Randy Schubring ~ Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison ~ Minnesota's Council on American-Islamic Relations ~ Sharmake Omar, without whom none of this would have happened ~ The young Somali thief's non-English speaking parents ~ Innumerable members of the local Somali scam network ~ Six jurors - two men and four women (reportedly all White) - who unanimously agreed that White people are not protected under the US Constitution While we're here, a special dishonorable mention must go to every single "FIRST AMENDMENT" organization in this hollowed-out country of ours. You know the ones - they relentlessly solicit and collect large sums of money to "DEFEND FREE SPEECH" while continuously, cravenly shrinking away from EVERY meaningful case where White people - LITERALLY THE ONLY GROUP WITH MAJORITY SUPPORT FOR THE FIRST AMENDMENT - are so clearly maliciously persecuted. Similarly, NOT ONE official at any level of government has spoken up to defend Shiloh Hendrix or her Constitutional rights, nor to condemn the flagrantly anti-White, utterly unconstitutional witch hunt she's endured. Not one. And on that note, we conclude today's review of the good ol' "American justice system." Lady Justice isn't blind. She's anti-White. And it's never been plainer to see.

This letter is one of the best responses I’ve seen.. Dear Mayor Mamdani, I'm writing from Canada, which means I have no vote, no dog in your reelection, and no reason to care about your press strategy. Except that I do, because it's hard not to notice a mayor treat foreign policy like it's the only portfolio he actually wants. I'll be honest about how this started. When the video first crossed my feed, I assumed it was fake. Not in the "bold move" way, in the actual "someone ran this through a deepfake generator to make a point" way. A sitting mayor, on camera, gravely announcing he'd exhausted every legal avenue to arrest a foreign head of state, only to concede he never had the authority in the first place. I sat there looking for anything that would let me file this under a bad prank instead of a real statement from a real sitting mayor. Then I found the CNN piece, the NPR piece, the France 24 piece, all reporting it straight, and had to sit with the fact that this actually happened, on purpose, from the mayor of New York City. So now I'm just curious, genuinely, no axe to grind, from way up here with no stake in your reelection. Whose mandate is this? You ran for mayor of New York. Housing, transit, safety, the budget, childcare, groceries people can actually afford, that's the job description. Nowhere in there does it say "unofficial spokesperson for the International Criminal Court" or "designated antagonist of the Israeli government." Nobody voted on that. There was no ballot line for it. So who exactly gave you the right to carry this out on the city's behalf, and in whose name are you actually doing it? From where I'm standing, this mandate doesn't look like it belongs to the people of New York at all. It looks like it belongs to Hamas, Hezbollah, and the IRGC. Here's the part that makes it feel less like conviction and more like theatre. Ask yourself the question your video conveniently skipped. If the head of the IRGC landed at JFK, would there be a video? If a Hezbollah commander wanted a night out in Manhattan at some swanky club, would you tell him, with that same solemn cadence, that he's not welcome? If someone from Hamas's political bureau, the men who actually planned October 7th, decided to visit, would you even flinch? Somehow I doubt it. The cameras only seem to come out for the one target that plays well to a specific room, and I notice, from all the way up here, that the room never asks about the others. It makes a person wonder who this performance is actually for. You don't owe me an answer. I can't vote, I can't donate, I can't even yell at you at a town hall. But the question doesn't need an American passport to be obvious. It's obvious from Canada. It's probably obvious from the moon. With all the respect you've earned, which is none. Francine Goldberg
