🏠 TORONTO BUYERS JUST WENT ON STRIKE GTA home sales plunged 5.2% in September β€” the steepest drop since February. Benchmark price down to C$924,600 as sellers refuse to meet buyers. The market has power. Who blinks first? πŸ‘‡ #housing #cdnecon

With those endless attacks to oil tankers, what's the point of recycling anymore? My paper straws aren't helping much.
BREAKING: Ukraine has just struck an oil tanker, which is now burning off the coast of Sochi in Russia's Krasnodar region, with a massive fire and a black smoke column rising several kilometres.

🧻 TARIFFS JUST HIT YOUR TOILET PAPER / The US slapped 50% on Canadian wood pulp; Canada hit back with 25% on American toilet paper. Trade wars aren't abstract β€” they raid your grocery bill. / What's the most absurd price jump you've seen lately? πŸ‘‡ #tariffs #cdnecon

He is a dumb-ass. Same level as Jim Cramer. How's his $LULU doing? πŸ˜‚
JUST IN: "Big Short" investor Michael Burry warns a stock market crash is coming. "The stock market is quite obviously in its first stage of grief, denial. Per 2000 and 2008, this stage lasts 6-9 months." Burry has repeatedly said the stock market is going to crash this year. Today, the S&P 500 hit a new all-time high.

When everyone worries about US Treasury Yields hitting over 5%, the stock market keeps going up. Sure, it may collapse at one point. What happens if it goes up another 20%+ or doesn't collapse?!? Ignore the noise, buy quality companies' stocks, don't time the market, and stay invested.
BREAKING: πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ S&P 500 just hit $71 TRILLION in total market cap for the first time in history. 500 US companies are now worth more than half of the entire world's economy.

This is the fire alarm signal for Canadians who is hiding under the rock.
Quebec wants to leave. Alberta wants to leave. Mass exodus of Canadians looking for better lives. 46% of businesses looking to relocate to the US. Record personal insolvencies. Record small business bankruptcies. Record food bank usage. Record homelessness. Yet the media will tell you Canadians whole-heartedly and unconditionally LOVE Mark Carney. Something stinks.
16
Carney must be pissing his pants now. Here we go; let's see what Carney will do in order to keep Quebec.
Parti QuΓ©bΓ©cois wins the Quebec election. Major blow to Carney government which spent tens of billions of dollars there to try and calm the sovereignty movement. Referendum will be back on the table around 2029 most likely. Quebec's election map is a thing of beauty!

David Eby is really working hard on baby boomers. He knows those people will come out to vote! I am not surprised if he brings voter boxes to senior homes and care centers.
The people who built our province deserve dignity and peace of mind as they age. That means being able to stay in the home you love, with help when you need it, and knowing there's a place for you when you need more care. Our plan will: 1. Add 500 home care workers and end fees for essential home care 2. Make the shingles vaccine free for everyone 50+ 3. Bring more nurse practitioners into care homes, so residents can get treated without a trip to hospital 4. Get seven long-term care homes built, faster and for less 5. Make sure care workers are paid fairly The BC Conservatives have already admitted that health care would take the brunt of their cuts. We'd rather ask the wealthiest to chip in a bit more, so seniors get the care they've earned. That's how we build B.C. strong.

Ouch. This is going to hurt Canadian Snowflakes. Serious question: are Canadians really that dumb to believe what our government is telling the public?

Of course, everyone thinks USD is trash. I'll hold USD more than Canadians Peso and the euro.
BREAKING: πŸ‡ͺπŸ‡Ί Euro crashes to a 17-month low against the dollar. Euro is on track for its fifth straight weekly decline as political and fiscal risks rise across the region.

BS. Taxing hard working Canadians. Nobody will want to work hard. They'll stop under $190k for sure. I know a lot of people are not taking work promotion because they'll pay more taxes while working longer hours. I'm one of them.
UPDATE: We now have the rate details. And this is much broader than the β€œmillionaires’ tax” initially advertised. The proposed B.C. provincial rates would increase: β€’ 16.8% β†’ 18.8% on taxable income from $190,405 to $265,545 β€’ 20.5% β†’ 22.5% from $265,545 to $1 million β€’ A new 24.5% rate above $1 million That means the combined federal/B.C. top marginal rate would become an astonishing 57.5%. And notice where the tax increases actually begin: roughly $190,000, not $1 million. So much for simply asking β€œmillionaires” to pitch in a little more. I’ll have much more to say about this.

Fuxk David Eby, you piece of shxt. You are discouraging Working Canadians to work. I am cutting my hours if he wins the election. This is why I starting to hate Canada. It is so fuxk up.
NEW - @Dave_Eby proposes to raise income taxes on top two brackets by 2 percentage points, to generate $1b in extra revenue for BC. β€’ $190,405-$265,545 will go from 16.8% to 18.8% β€’ $265,545-$1m will go from 20.5% to 22.5% β€’ New $1m+ tax at 24.5%

In a way, I do enjoying to see "far-left" countries collapse. This is a big wake up call around the world. Of course, CBC will block this. We all know this will happen in Canada sooner or later.

Welcome to the new world. Europe is about to collapse. Canada is next with our weak justice system.
What’s happening in France is horrifying. A French woman confronts a man who is allegedly vandalizing her city, and he responds by burning her face. Absolutely horrific.

Their people killed the company. For me, the gamechanger is when they focus of transgender and obese models. Next brand will be Lululemon.
Many of you are surprised to see Nike $NKE stock perform terribly, but I'm not. I'm saying this as a recruiter, not some financial analyst. They shifted from trying to hire the best talent around to being purely performative in the market with too much emphasis on DEI. I know a few folks I'm close with at competitors of mine who had Nike as a client, and anyone who's recruited for them knows hiring the best people wasn't the priority for a long time. Nike lost their way, which is depressing because they were my favorite brand growing up, especially since Kobe Bryant was so influential in my life. Brands don't fall off overnight. It starts years earlier with who they decide to hire.

Sorry, Nike is asking for it. I stopped buying Nike after that period. $NKE , take note. It's easy to lose a customer like me when you trash your brand with transgender BS.
Nike ran the tranny Dylan Mulvaney ad in April 2023 $NKE was $122 $33 today Down 73%
