Fun fact: I turned $1 into $2
I don't understand the strategy of announcing that you are going to raise taxes on a group which will include many physicians, and then immediately announce recruitment is still a priority.

Spending a lot of time in Vancouver, British Columbia lately.
Hike from last weekend to Panorama Ridge close to Whistler (photo below).
Canada gets a lot of hate but my god it is one of the most beautiful places on earth!
Tom Lee said we may experience a tiny speed bump between mid Oct to Midterms.
Then moonshoot to $SPX 8,200 eoy give or take.
Then 2027 will be one of the greatest bull markets we will see in our lifetime.
Look, I know thereβs love/hate on Fintwit with Tom, but he did accurately call out this recent pop in the indices post FOMC.
TBH, I like Tom Lee.
Back in the middle of 2022, when everyone was calling for the end of the world, this man was bullish every day, everywhere.
I listened to him, and he ended up being right.
He was also calling for $BTC to eventually hit $100K when Bitcoin was around $20K. That sounded crazy at the time⦠and it happened.
Tom Lee @TomLeeTracker is our modern day stock market hero. π«‘
Why do we even care what Trump will do/say when Canada can't even solve our own problems?
Tired of that fear-mongering about Trump.
Our government is treating Canadians like kids.
Only property for sale in Richmond on land stolen by the Cowichan.
Asking $5 million but real value is $0 for there are no buyers.
Owned by Chinese immigrants who imagined their investment in Canada would be protected by the government.
With those First Nations cases, nobody wants to invest in buying land properties in BC.
You just never know; your land value could go to $0 overnight.
Why risk it when they can invest elsewhere?
It's not like Canada is the #1 country in the world.
BREAKING: πΊπΈ US 30-year bond yield just hit 5.7% for the first time since 2002.
Back then, inflation was only 1.2%, the Fed funds rate was 1.75%, and the stock market was already in a crash, about 40% below its peak.
Today inflation is almost 3 times higher at 3.4%, and stock market is at all time high.
It's amazing how everyone refers to the history.
Sure, the stock market may crash, but it's never the same as it was before.
Keep invested and don't time the market.
I MISSED THIS ONE IN VANCOUIVER π
Bought in 2017 for $10.488 MILLION.
Sold in 2026 for $6.58 MILLION.
Thatβs nearly a $4 MILLION LOSS. 37% below the 2017 purchase price.
Almost nine years of ownership⦠and nearly $4M gone before transaction costs.
Vancouver real estate has some stories to tell.
$META Muse is increasingly useless with agent blocks.
This weekend, best deal Fucker could get me on rental car was more for exact same rental via $BKNG website and significantly more than Booking app price.
Muse's price was over 25% higher. All of these were Hertz, same car model, same pickup location and airport drop-off.
Just now trying to have it handle an Amazon customer service issue and is blocked. I did hear they blocked Meta Muse but was thinking/hoping doing this via my PC browser would be different. Nope.
Muse is feeling a little bit overhyped at this point. Will be interesting to see if usage drops off as people hit a wall on what to do with it.
I'm a long way from having that much trust in any LLM. I use LLMs daily for multiple things, and the mistakes they still make are unacceptable with that level of access.
Don't you think both Google, Apple, and Meta already have most of your personal data?
The moment you are carrying your phone, Google/Apple is already listening to your conversation.
π TORONTO BUYERS JUST WENT ON STRIKE
GTA home sales plunged 5.2% in September β the steepest drop since February. Benchmark price down to C$924,600 as sellers refuse to meet buyers.

The disaster that David Eby has created.
Put someone so dumb with no basic finance knowledge in charge and you get runaway debt and a lost generation for many in BC
Maybe he is pretending to be dumb.
You never know how many "under-the-table" deals and kickbacks he has made so far.
I bet he is in the tens of millions.
BREAKING: Ukraine has just struck an oil tanker, which is now burning off the coast of Sochi in Russia's Krasnodar region, with a massive fire and a black smoke column rising several kilometres.
𧻠TARIFFS JUST HIT YOUR TOILET PAPER / The US slapped 50% on Canadian wood pulp; Canada hit back with 25% on American toilet paper. Trade wars aren't abstract β they raid your grocery bill. / What's the most absurd price jump you've seen lately? π #tariffs#cdnecon
JUST IN: "Big Short" investor Michael Burry warns a stock market crash is coming.
"The stock market is quite obviously in its first stage of grief, denial. Per 2000 and 2008, this stage lasts 6-9 months."
Burry has repeatedly said the stock market is going to crash this year. Today, the S&P 500 hit a new all-time high.
Elections are a giant waste of time.
"Well if you don't vote, you can't complain.
Ok. Well if you vote, and nothing changes, or gets worse, then you're responsible and you can't complain.
It's been years of things getting progressively worse. Fuck you.
