Look at the empty street parking along NW Marine Drive near Jericho.
It used to be filled with people parking there and walk down to the beach.
What the City achieved by installing parking meters at $4/hr? Nothing!
People just park even further for free parking and flooded local streets.

It's weird that one of my colleague wants to be the "person" that you mentioned.
Now, he is working 2x as much as all other employees and complains he doesn't have time.
Sure, most of the staff got layoff and he still has a job. But he is working 10 hours a day all by himself in the office.
