I think the question is more when did they actually meet because there’s been rumors this affair had been going on for at least a year before the murders. He wants kids before times up. It makes sense. Patrick is a gold star man that wants a family. He was robbed of one by that heinous Lindsay woman and now he is rebuilding. The world is healing. You can not let Lindsay go free or she will stalk and kill Patrick and his new family

Even if he got remarried within a year, I wouldn't find that strange. I would want to move on from the absolute nightmare that man endured as fast as possible. Sitting alone in your misery serves no one.

For me, I see this to be the three kids in heaven sending a new child, their sibling, to their daddy. For him to get a new chance at being a daddy. Coz that chance was ripped out of Patrick by Lindsay. Am so happy for Patrick and his new wife. And oh that new child is going to be so loved and protected, not just by his parents but by three angels as well.

Not to mention his wife is in her late 30s. She of ALL people knows the decline in fertility that happens at this age. She can’t wait for some arbitrary public approval of “long enough.”
